"Joe explained various options (models, efficiency rating, attic vs. cellar installation, etc.) thoroughly, promptly followed through on my follow-up questions, and prepared a detailed & accurate quote. He measured the size of the house and cold-air returns to ensure the system was sized properly. He is a patient guy & very pleasant to work with. Scheduling the installation was painless, the installers (Steve and his assistant Derek) started on time, and worked diligently & efficiently.
Everyone is very experienced and knowledgeable, and all clearly take pride in their work. They kept in excellent communication with me throughout the installation. They were respectful of my home, my concerns, my pets, etc.
They stand by what they sell, too. This winter, about 18 months after it was installed, my tankless hot water heater had a factory defect that caused it to shut off. Steve came the day I reported the problem, was on the phone with the manufacturer for hours to diagnose the issue, and came back twice more to finish the repair (3 visits might sound absurd, but it wasn't Airco's problem, it was the manufacturer's, as they were misdiagnosing the issue). The unit is now working perfectly thanks to Steve's persistence. A bonus: Airco charged me for only a small portion of Steve's time from his initial visit. They ate the cost of his additional visits! These guys are golden.

"My central air system went down in the middle of a heat wave and virtually every HVAC repair service that I called told me that they weren t taking new clients and couldn t help me. I contacted Chris through home advisor and he agreed to help me out. He promptly came to my house, identified my problem, and ordered parts. When the parts arrived he immediately came back and installed them and I was up and running. Chris identified and fixed my problem and the entire process took only 2 days. On top of that, the price was more than reasonable and Chris is a super nice guy. I highly recommend Chris because he is a skilled and professional technician."

"After the wait time for the first service date, I was pleasantly surprised by being able to get a prompt appointment when we needed the unit disconnected.  Getting through to the right individual at Atlantic Heating & Air Conditioning can be a challenge.  They showed up when promised and were professional in their demeanor each time.  We did not need the air conditioning during the week + that it took to come back and fix the unit so we didn't worry about lack of communication there.  My concerns come from the amount this procedure cost when we took the necessary steps to protect the air conditioning unit from harm, but got slammed with extra time and repairs anyway.  We had no indication that it would or did take this many hours until we got the bill.  Improvements in Communication/ Customer Service and technician oversight would probably make customers happier.  At the very least, I'd prefer to work with a company that doesn't charge $125/hour for travel.

Note:  I gave a "C" for quality.  Since air conditioning season was effectively over by the time final fix was made, I have no idea where I'll be when we use it next year. "

"I had central A.C. installed - Jonathan Neves (owner) offered an outstanding price, he uses friendly hard-working installers who did quality workmanship. J. walked me through all the possible rebates I could qualify for, and I ended up spending about 80% of what other contractors bid for my job. Definitely would do business with him again. Only reason for 4.5 stars on customer service was that there doesn't seem to be an office assistant to answer phone inquiries, so often the only way to communicate is via voicemails left on Jonathan's phone."
