"Josh of D&J plumbing came out to install and troubleshoot the water heater. Install went well but after a couple of hours still no hot water. Josh came back out to asses the cause. He determined that I had a leak under my slab foundation. He installed a cut off valve to stop the continuous running of the water. After contact my insurance company and verifying with leak detection to pin point the area of the leak. Josh was booked up and couldn’t get back to me in time so I went with another provider for the leak repair. Our water heater had been in the attic since the house was built, about 15 years.  We had started thinking it was time to replace it, before we had an incident that would require drywall and paint.  Scott, The Water Heater Experts owner, is GREAT!  He came out to assess our situation and advised me on the pros and cons of tankless water heating. We decided to replace our existing tank with a new one, rather than installing tankless. Scott pointed out the items in the attic that would need to be brought up to code and included that in the replacement estimate. The new heater is the same brand as our previous one (Rheem, 50 gal) with some new features that Scott took care to explain.  Scott and an assistant brought the new heater and removed the old one, which I thought would be a real trick to get it out of the attic but I honestly did not hear them remove it and didn't even know it was done.  They shut off the water, drained the tank and made the code adjustments and installation in about 2.5 hours. I was completely impressed by how they approached the project and cleaned up after themselves. Because water heaters are a once every 10-15 year purchase, companies like these rely on recommendations rather than repeat business (although Scott guarantees his installations and supports any problems.)  I can say I highly recommend Scott and the Water Heater Experts!

We have used them for water heater replacement, water line repair, and most recently, replacing our main water line after our water bills shot out of sight. After they came out and determined the problem, I received a quote from Dave that night and prompt answers to questions via email. We've had the same plumber, Taylor, for most of our service and really like him. They did a quality job replacing my water line. U should have listened when they recommended replacing vs repair a few years ago and it would have save me some bucks. A few days after they left, I discovered my irrigation was off. The came back out the next day after I called and realized there was a connection problem and quickly rectified. I'm glad to have a trustworthy and reliable plumber and plan to continue using them in the future."
