"Excellent experience and I would recommend them. A plumber told me that my chimney was probably blocked so I called Chimney Cricket to come out. They were excellent to deal with on the telephone and came out the next morning on time. The owner cleaned out the chimney and showed me all of the leaves that had fallen down, partially blocking my hot water heater vent. He cleaned everything out and suggested that we install a chimney cap. Our home inspector had also suggested a cap. He immediately installed the cap and mesh around it - done and cleaned up within an hour. Very professional. I would recommend them again and already gave their business card to my next door neighbor."

"We bought a "fixer upper" in Troy in the summer of 2018 and the chimney needed a lot of work. The bricks at the bottom needed repair and the chase cover and chimney cap were rusted out. I took bids from 5 different contractors for the brick work and 4 different contractors for the new chase cover and cap. We went with Jeff for the brick work because he was very personable, he had excellent reviews on Angies, and he was the 2nd lowest bid. The only person who gave a lower bid was only slightly lower and he had virtually zero online reviews. Jeff did the brickwork for about $1,650. Other contractors with comparable online reputations wanted as much as $3,500. We went with Jeff for the chase cover and cap because, in addition to the reviews mentioned above, he was one of the few who offered to do it in stainless steel. If you look around my neighborhood you will see that as many as half of the houses have rusted chase covers and chimney caps (1990's McMansions in Troy). Ours was no different and the corrosion was so bad water was leaking into the chimney. Everything I read online and personal friends who knew construction / Home Improvement all said the same thing; if you want your chase cover to last forever get stainless steel or copper. Other contractors had cheaper bids but they wanted to do the chase cover in aluminum of galvanized steel. In some cases these bids were half the price but we prefer construction materials that last. As mentioned above we bought a home that was a "fixer upper" and needed a lot of work. We were also residing the home. Jeff was very flexible in working around the siding crew during a VERY busy season. We worked with over a dozen contractors in fixing up the home we bought. Grey Oaks was the one contractor we were 100% satisfied with and had zero regrets in hiring. I will be recommending them to friends and family."

"The work was done on the date promised and for the exact price quoted. The work was of high quality but still fits in with the general appearance of the existing chimney. Clean up was so good my wife could not even tell he had been out. Nice guy. Give him a try."

"Leo called several times to let me know when to expect him and to notify me when he was stuck in traffic and so would be a little late. He removed the old outlets and installed the new ones. He moved the furniture that was too heavy for me to move. Because my house was so old, there was a problem with some of the wiring. He spent a lot of extra time to correct the problems he found. He even came back to my home a second time at no extra charge. When he was done, he cleaned up all work areas.
I was very impressed with his skill and professionalism and would definitely use this company again and would highly recommend Lombardo Restoration to anyone who needs work done on their home.

"Arrived on time. Very professional. I should have hired them much earlier before I wasted my hard earned money to some random roofer. The worker water tested my chimney and gave his diagnosis and expertise. When it is time to replace my chimney cover to a stainless permanent one, I won't hesitate to contact Kelly. She was very kind to arrange an appointment and ver knowledgeable."
