"Repair guy was pleasant and nice to work with. Worked efficiently and most importantly fixed both problems. I did have pay for two visits (diagnosis and repair). It was a couple weeks before appliances were fixed."

"Javier installed my three major appliances and did some cabinet work on the microwave/oven. Also did some grinding of the tile to fit the stove top appliance. My dishwasher installed with no problem . Will call him for other projects in the future. Would recommend to my friends."

"It went well.  Creig came by, surveyed the house, the attic space, and availability of electrical circuits and provided a reasonable quote for the work.  About a week and a half later, when I had the fans on hand, I called him up, and he was available for the following Saturday.  It turned out a long day for him, but he did his work well.  He was pleasant and professional.  I'm satisfied with the completed work.  I feel I got good value for my money, and would definitely hire him again."

"The Harrison brothers are great. First they installed the venting in the attic and then once the new kitchen cabinets were in place, they installed the new over stove fan. The only reason I gave a "B" on responsiveness is that there was one time when I had to call twice before getting a call back. The "B" on quality is because the taping where the pipe meets the cabinet could have been neater, but in reality it's in an upper cabinet so you don't even see it. The communication, scheduling and work went smoothly and we are satisfied.

"Due to a storm and fallen tree my electricity was out all day and when it came back on the GFI receptacle was not working. I had pressed the red button to reset it several times with no luck. I called Joseph late Monday afternoon and he was able to fit me in the next afternoon. He was punctual and very friendly and professional. He pressed the the red button on the GFI and it reset just fine. I guess a women's touch wasn't working in this situation... He was so kind and said that he would not charge me for coming out. What a nice gesture on his part!!! I did tip him though. Needless to say I have saved him to my favorites!!"

"We are so pleased with the whole job. The bathroom really looks beautiful. He was honest, and true to his price plus he was easy to work with. We had obtained estimates from 4 other contractors and his price was competitive, plus, we could tell that he was someone we could trust to do a good job. And he did. We are very happy and would definitely hire him again.

"It went great. It was all done over two half-day sessions. He first plastered and premiered our kitchen ceiling, and then installed the wall mirror and flat-screen TV mount. A couple of days later (after the primer dried), he returned to apply the paint, and then installed the track lights and the oven fan."

FAQs for appliance (major electric appliance) installation and replacement projects in Mount-hamilton, CA

A pro starts by setting the units in place and connecting them to the right plumbing lines, electrical circuits, and, for the dryer, a vent. If the hookups already exist, the job is quick. When they don’t, the installer must add plumbing, outlets, or a vent run, which takes more time and increases the price, especially when the laundry area is located far from existing utilities.

You’ll need the right pros for a tight stacked setup. A natural-gas plumber handles the water lines, drain, and any gas work, while an electrician installs the circuit the dryer needs. If venting or framing changes are required, hire a general contractor to patch the drywall or adjust the framing so that everything meets code and operates safely.

Permanent models need complete plumbing, electrical, and—for dryers—vent hookups. Portable units skip most of that and can run on a standard outlet with a temporary water connection. If your home already has a code-approved hookup, you just connect the new appliances. If not, hire a licensed pro to add the lines and vent so the machines run safely and efficiently.

Relocating a hookup costs between $500 and $5,000, as it may involve installing new outlets, gas lines, vents, and drain pipes. The price increases when the new location is far from existing utilities or requires additional framing and drywall work. Have licensed professionals evaluate your layout, provide a quote for the move, and handle the installation so that every component meets code and works safely.
