"I can't say enough about the excellent work that Carolina Contracting did completely demoing an existing wood deck and constructing a new TimberTech deck. The project was challenging. The deck is sixteen feet off the ground with +20 stairs and extensive lighting. It was done on budget and on time. Scott Dean and his team worked hard every day on the project from early morning to dusk. They are true craftsmen. Communication was exemplary throughout the 3-4 week project."

"I can’t even begin to describe how fast to run from this company. Some of the reviews on Google are from current employees. We hired All About Tile based off of Angi’s list reviews. Antonio came promptly and gave us a very detailed quote for our scope of work on a kitchen renovation. I will start by saying that we hit red flags starting a month into the job. Antonio kept adding more and more things into the job that he didn’t account for. Some things that were visible while he was doing his initial estimate. On multiple occasions, vendors that we had hired told us they didn’t feel comfortable that he knew what he was doing or that he had sub contractors that knew what they were doing. We had multiple conversations with him where we did a temperature gauge and set expectations. 3 months into the job he quit mid job when frustrated. Then called us after and asked to finish the job. He didn’t pull proper permits. Our electric wasn’t remotely up to code and he tried to tell us we owed him an additional $15,000. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere!"

"I hired this general contractor expecting professional workmanship and clear communication, but unfortunately the experience was the opposite from start to finish. The quality of the work was extremely disappointing. Basic construction standards were not followed, and several parts of the project had obvious workmanship issues that had to be pointed out repeatedly. Even after raising concerns, the corrections were either incomplete or done carelessly, which created even more problems later. Delays were constant throughout the project. Deadlines were missed over and over with little to no explanation, and the schedule seemed to change whenever it was convenient for the contractor. What should have been a straightforward timeline stretched far longer than promised. Communication was also a major issue. Calls and messages often went unanswered, and updates were rarely provided unless I repeatedly asked for them. 9 months later, home is still not complete. See pictures below!"
