"Outstanding experience from start to finish. Communication was clear, prompt, and professional, and the quality of work exceeded expectations. Pricing was very fair for the level of service provided. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for reliable and skilled plumbing work."

"<p>I was initially happy with their work. They explained all the problems with the drains and gave me an accurate estimate. They finished the work in a timely and professional manner.</p> <p>The issue is that the work was done in the winter when the ground was frozen and snow covered. I have spoke to them several times in the past 3 weeks now that the ground is thawed and have been given dates they would come out and repair the groundwork. I have several holes in the yard, one being almost 3 feet deep. I have been scheduled for repairs but to date they have not been done. I'm told each time that they encountered a job that took longer than expected.</p> <p>If they do the repairs I will come back and amend this review. But at this time could not recommend this company.</p> <p><br /></p> <br />"

"Scott Cox was responsive, timely, very friendly, and honest.  He diagnosed the issue I was having with my heat pump and fixed it same day.  I was so impressed with his service that I hired him again to work on a furnace at one of my rental properties.  For that job, he found a bad motor, ordered it and returned to replace and verify operation.  The cost was $360, including the new motor.  I would happily recommend to anyone looking for heating and air service. <br />"

"We hired Triple J Plumbing to re-pipe my mother?s home.  Reed returned our call for information promptly, <br /> and scheduled a visit for an estimate.  <br /> He listened to all of our concerns and issues, walked us through the <br /> house, and gave us a very reasonable estimate. The work he and his team did for <br /> my mom was excellent. They were very sensitive to my mother?s concerns about <br /> the work, and everything was completed to her satisfaction ? down to the <br /> smallest detail.  It was very rainy the <br /> day they were working, and they got a little bit of mud on her carpet.  Before the plumbers left the house, the <br /> carpet cleaning company was on the phone, scheduling a clean-up of the mud. I <br /> am so very grateful to Reed and Shane for their professionalism.  We highly recommend Triple J to everyone we <br /> know. <br />"

"Mike Craw came with someone he was training.  They arrived on time, took up the toilet, replaced the wax seal, and then raised and leveled the toilet.  Our pipes are old so he explained that eventually the pipes would probably have to be replace because of corrosion but that it could wait.  He then cleaned out the main drain from the toilet which greatly improved the flushing capacity.  I would definitly use Craw Plumbing again."

"I cannot say enough good things about Jeff Howard, Chad Bailey, Bobby Fields, and the rest of the workers from William's Comfort Air who were involved in this project (extensive reworking of return and supply air systems, Aeorseal of the vent system, and what basically amounted to an overhaul of much of the gas furnace). It was a complex job, taking almost 4 days to complete, and as a result was expensive--however, the amount of extra work and attention to detail this crew put in made it abundantly clear that I got much more than my money's worth. The work ethic of these guys is the best I have EVER seen--from the planning/design, scheduling, set up, removal of the old components, installation of the new systems, Aeroseal application, checking, double-checking, and clean up-- these guys explained everything, cut no corners and attended to the smallest detail to make sure the job was done right. The results are fantastic. After this experience, I would never have anyone else work on my system. I give them my very highest recommendation."

"Joe and his apprentice are always friendly, punctual and communicative.  He is takes things in stride when the stuff in our old house gives him problems.  He works fast and I've never had to have him come back to redo work - which I have had with other plumbers in Muncie.  I won't use any other plumber now! <br>"

FAQs for gas piping projects in Muncie, IN

Plumbers with proper licensing and credentials install and relocate gas lines. When hiring a professional, verify they have experience with gas systems and all required certifications. Some homeowners choose to work with plumbers specializing in natural gas installations, as they have extensive experience with similar projects and understand the safety requirements.

The timeline for gas line relocation varies based on project complexity, permit processing, and inspection scheduling. The physical labor takes a few hours to one day, depending on the line length. However, the actual installation work represents only part of the overall project timeline. Your contractor should provide a specific timeframe based on your circumstances and local permitting requirements.

Your gas supply must be shut off during the relocation process. This safety measure prevents gas leaks while connections are being modified. Plan for this temporary service interruption by making alternative arrangements for cooking, heating, or other gas-dependent systems in your home. The shut-off generally only lasts for a portion of the work, often a few hours.

Relocating gas lines to connect new appliances is a common reason for this type of project. Whether you're installing a gas stove, fireplace, dryer, or outdoor grill, a professional can determine the best route for extending your existing gas system. The cost will depend on the distance between your current gas line and the new appliance location.

Gas line work is not suitable for DIY projects. Natural gas is highly flammable and potentially lethal if not handled correctly. Gas leaks can be difficult to detect without specialized equipment. Professional plumbers have the proper training, tools, and experience to safely relocate gas lines while ensuring compliance with local building codes and safety standards.
