Customers say: Terrific value

"We had a TVA home inspection after they completed our work. The TVA inspectors were very impressed with the quality of their work and rated the attic insulation a 10 out of 10. They took pictures and were going to use them in their meetings to show others of how it should be done! Very good job and we can already see changes in our electricity bill!"

Customers say: Quick response

"Walter and Son’s LLC did a fantastic job on my kitchen facelift! Amazing work was completed without subcontractors. Walter’s sons, Mike, Mitchell and Andrew handled the complete job from start to finish with the upmost professionalism and courtesy. My kitchen upgrade included: subway Tile backsplash, granite countertop, complete cabinet resurfacing and painting wall & trim. They went above and beyond to correct a minor plumbing problem and installed two new light fixtures."

"Ron gave me a simple, easy to understand estimate based on his estimated time necessary for the repairs and the material he would need. I accepted his bid, which was the lowest of two. A third company wanted to charge me $90 to submit a bid and a fourth potential bidder did not show up to make his bid. Ron did everything he promised, and more. He found and repaired two significant problems I had not seen. He also spent significantly more time on the job than he anticipated, but he still charged me only for the amount of time he estimated the job would take - and he deducted $10 from the material cost, which was lower than his estimate."

FAQs for major home repair (general contractor) projects in Murfreesboro, TN

In many cases, it’s much less expensive to convert a bus than to buy an RV, especially if you’re considering a newer RV model, which can exceed $100,000.

Another huge benefit of school bus conversion is that you are in control of the renovation project. You get to pick your camper's new layout and all the appliances and furniture.

While school buses can easily cost $300,000 when they're new, you can often find used buses for just a few thousand dollars. These vehicles experience extreme depreciation due to government regulations; they can only be used for so long before they must be replaced. Due to those same regulations, other government agencies cannot purchase them for their own uses, so the consumer market is the only place they can go.

The length of time it takes to convert a bus depends on the scope of the project (and size of the bus), how much work is DIY vs. done by a professional contractor, and how much work you’re doing up front.

In general, expect at least a couple of months for a conversion, but larger conversions could take six months to a year. Remember: You can tackle projects as you go: Get the basic work done so that it’s livable, and then continue to enhance your living space over time.
