"Our 18 year old AC finally but the dust last year. Kevin and Kenny with Top Shelf quoted us last year (fall 2019) for a full replacement of our HVAC + water heater. AC, furnace, water heater. Since the furnace and water heater were also 18 years old we decied to just replace everything together. They gave us another quote spring of 2020 that was the same. They were also well under their competitors pricing (6 other quotes) and much more thorough with their quote. They actually went into the crawl space to check the duct work, counted the registers, asked about heating and cooling issues in different rooms, triple checked what we currently had and made sure what they recommended to replace would be sufficient and efficient. Other companies sent a sales guy with a brochure. To be honest, I had some reservations about a new company but they were very down to earth and just seemed like professional good guys. They were that and more. On a sweltering hot day, that freak week of 90 F we got before the rain hit, they came out and installed everything. 12+ hour day they went at it. I think they took a lunch, at least I hope they did. Anyway, they worked hard. Everything looked fantastic after the install. Pipes were all wrapped, duct work was insulated and tight, pipes were good. Idk what Iâ m talking about but it looked a lot better than what Hubble did 18 years ago. The filter replacement rack is magnetic and super simple to use. The inspectors that came even commented on how well a job they did. And on top of that they explain everything. "Service tech I was referred to is a lifesaver! Keith came out on a Sunday to consult on a major plumbing repair (tree roots destroyed part of the main line of the home I moved into a month ago). He was knowledgable, diagnosed the problem quickly and gave me a good idea of what the next steps would be given various circumstances. When it came time to work on the line, he did the repair himself (in the snow!). The day after the major repair was finished, an old fitting on my washing machine hook-up broke off, resulting in a huge flood. Keith helped us shut off the water over the phone, then explained how to do the repair ourselves (no charge). I'd recommend him to anyone looking for a plumber in Boise. He was even nice to my dog."

"Jim immediately discovered that nothing at all was wrong with my AC. The thermostat wasn't properly seated/in place on the wall after I'd changed the batteries a couple months before (operator error - duh). He snapped it back and that was it - NO CHARGE. He was ready to leave, but I also wanted to discuss an annual furnace/AC maintenance agreement, so he filled me in and I signed up. My thirteen-year-old gas water heater that wasn't property installed in the first place, was an accident waiting to happen and in need of replacement, and Tully's current water heater "special" sounded good to me. Two days later two other servicemen arrived to do the work - the water heater was installed, and the furnace was inspected/serviced. I don't pretend to know what's happening when the furnace is serviced, but I always observe the work being done, and have never witnessed a more thorough job. Tully Mechanical is truly a trustworthy and professional company, providing competent and efficient service. I look forward to seeing them again next year for my Spring maintenance service."
