"I was happy with an initial quote, but I should have asked for more detail for what *I will get it all fixed* meant. Bathtub had a leak, was quoted $1200 to fix it and get it all right. They repaired pipes but not the leaks in the tub (shower head and knobs leaked a lot). So when I asked why he did not fix the leaks in the bathtub, because I thought he said he would fix it all, he said that was not part of fixed the leaks in the tub. He ended up saying he would repair the knobs and it wouldnstop leaking for free because of how he worded his quote. He pulls them knobs off and comes to me and says they are so old and wont go back on. I now have to pay $600 to replace the knob/showerhead system. I am left with no choice since he had taken it off and said it would not go back."

"They did a great job. In about 10 minutes, they had the old faucet taken out and the new one put in. They cleaned it all up when they were done. Even the price they charged was the most reasonable I have heard of. He had a really pleasant personality and it was a wonderful experience all around. I would highly recommend them and I would definitely hire them again."

"Matthew came to do a free inspection of my plumbing.  He noticed some water under the kitchen sink and gave us a very reasonable estimate for that repair.  We ultimately decided to replace the sink and faucet, as the whole setup wasn't in great shape.  Matthew came the next day and did the job; he was punctual and professional, and he did an excellent job.  We are very pleased with how it turned out. <br />"

"The service call was placed on 12/10; vendor callled same day but was unable to respond until 12/14. He was prompt and declared the faucet was unreparable.. I asked if he could not try to repair but he said he cold not do that because if it din'fix the problem he could not replace the faucet. He stated that the replacement would not be exact but similar. My faucet had separaate lever for turn on/off but he said the replacement would probably be part of the sprout. We did not really appreciate this but he offered no probable favorable solution.. Not happy with response time but realize a close to weekend call caused this. Did not appreciate not even attempting repair."

"This post is being shared as a mode of recommending. Perfection Roofing and Home Repairs. As a general contractors, they were great coordinator and communicators, even taking great pride in making sure we were apprised of all decisions. We were surprised to learn their estimates were even cheaper than we had expected. The project cost, 22K was 5K less than another reputable competitor.Senior citizens approach projects carefully, especially when new faces are involved. We felt comfortable at all times. A humanitarian side story involved how they took great care not to upset our aged dog."

"If you want a contractor who will pay attention to problems/defects from previous repairs (or original construction), bring these to your attention and correct the problem, then Cyril is the guy for you.   <br /> Was the final cost higher than the estimate?  Yes, but only because he discovered problems with the original construction to my attention and provided suggestions to resolve.  When you find that the posts that hold up a deck 20+ feet high are sitting on dirt or a scrap of 2x10 with no concrete support, that's something I want to know and fix.  The final cost was reasonable, given the extra work I authorized Cyril to complete in order to ensure the safety of my family and guest.  Cyril always let me know what he had found, including pictures to document (I wasn't on site) and didn't perform extra work without permission. <br /> I think he did a fabulous job.  We are very pleased with the work and the finished result.   <br /> I will definitely use Cyril again. <br />"

FAQs for faucets, fixtures and pipes repair or replace projects in Nashville, NC

A minor, easily accessible leak can be resolved in about three hours, while a large or hard-to-reach leak may take up to three days. If flooring or cabinets need to be built back, the timeline can run several weeks to cover material deliveries and installation. Every job begins with detection, proceeds to repair, and concludes with restoring your foundation’s strength.

Slab leaks are most common in areas where the ground is in motion, such as those prone to earthquakes or highly expansive soils. In places like California, constant shifting puts stress on foundations and pipes. Stay ahead of trouble by monitoring your water bill, inspecting visible slab edges, and scheduling routine inspections to catch leaks early and maintain your home's safety.

Keep an eye out for damp spots, rising water bills, the sound of running water when taps are off, or staining and sagging along the foundation. Check exposed slab edges during routine walk-arounds and note any uptick in indoor humidity or pest traffic. The moment something looks off, call a pro—fast action protects your slab and wallet.

Most policies cover slab-leak repairs tied to a covered event, such as earthquakes, severe storms, or a fallen tree. They often won’t cover gradual issues, such as root intrusion or corrosion-related pinhole leaks. Every policy is different, so be sure to contact your carrier for the fine print before any problems arise.
