"It went great. I originally received a classic "looks like you'll need a new boiler system" from another company when in fact the boiler didn't need replacing. I called Dawson Mechanical and they did a thorough inspection and tested it. I've used them in the past to re-architect all the pipes running the steam and condensate. "Initially I had my AC repaired due to a leak. They were upfront about it possibly not holding the Freon..But for a couple of hundred dollars, I wanted to try it over replacing the entire HVAC sysrem. Mine was 33 years old at that point. So the Freon lasted about a month and I said let's just try it one more time and they were willing to try although again they said it probably isn't going to last even with "stop leak" added. Well it lasted about 5 days. So, when I called them to have them install a new HVAC, they took the second service call and credited it to the new HVAC. I have had the new HVAC for about a month, with the Google Nest thermostat and I could not be happier. Tony, JD, Mike and the other guys are the best. Amazing, professional, honest, with a fair to low price. I honestly would have paid more based on other bids. I would say don't even bother with other bids, but that wouldn't he prudent. So, get other bids but go with these guys. I promise you you will not be disappointed. I could not have asked for a better experience!!!"

I knew it was going to cost, because they were upfront with the price estimate. Still, it seemed like a high price. This was a repair that I could have done if I had the patience and time to do it myself. I paid the 'lazy tax' to have someone else do it. I'm more mad at myself there. I do not fault the work and the speed of the repair. The work was done quickly and cleanly.
