"Replaced stone/paver walkway with poured concrete 35' long by 44'' wide. Received quote from Randy Inch, work done by his son. He did a fabulous job, price seemed very reasonable and a lot cheaper from one other quote I received. It looks really nice. He knew what he was talking about."

"I called to have a repair completed on a veneer stone wall, we had a stone that had fallen off, Bill arrived promptly and that night i received the quote via email, he had a team member arrived as scheduled to complete the work. The job took a surprise turn as it revealed that the damage was much greater than expected due to water damage that has rotten the wall, insulation and had mold. I instantly panicked, Bill sat with me and gave me options to replace the 276 ft wall , brought me samples, and quoted me different options, My one day repair turned into a 3 week complete front of the house rehab due to the discovery that my house was my tyvek wrapped by builders my windows were never sealed or flashed properly. I was very nervous with such a large project to face, Bill answered all my text messages promptly took the time to answer my calls and explained every step of the process. arrived on time each day, and cleaned up each evening. I was completely satisfied with the after look , I had new windows, new veneer stone wall, new siding, new headers and new shutters installed. His son and other worker were great team to have ."

"Val's work is definitely that of a master carpenter.  His latest work was one of 3 projects that he has completed at our home.  He has very good insight and planning as to how a job should be completed at the highest level of quality.  Without question, we will be having Val complete future work at our home and would not hesitate to recommend him to others. <br />"

"Arlen did great work, clean, precise and quick. His team was respectful of our property, even dug out and re-pointed an entire brick wall behind my garden without any damage to my plants. He made smart and thoughtful suggestions as we decided what would and wouldn't been done on the property, respected our budget parameters and overall we were happy to have him at our property. I live in a historic district where craftsmanship of this kind is understood and respected and we have received a number of compliments on the work. I highly recommend A+, and their price was very reasonable as well."

"Brick and Lime did a rebuild and restoration of our front porch, basement and front foundation. It was a huge project, involving masonry, concrete, stucco, installation of a sump pump, electrical, grading, and more. They very carefully restored and reused the original porch columns and restored the original windows at my request. They came up with great ideas for retaining the historic character of the home, while also coming into compliance with modern building codes. Jonathan is very easy to communicate with. The entire team is friendly and professional. This project turned out better than I could ever imagine. We will be hiring them back for other projects without hesitation. I highly recommend Brick and Lime for any masonry, stucco, or concrete repair. They do top notch work."

"Keystone did a great job. From the first contact forward, they were extremely impressive -- professional, courteous, knowledgeable, timely -- regardless of whether we were dealing with the sales side, the permitting specialist, the scheduler, or the work crew. The crew worked diligently with obvious attention to detail. The end product looks great."

"Jason and his crew did an excellent job. He came to house, assessed the problem with the current stucco on house and gave me options for replacement. He prioritized areas that needed to be immediately fixed and gave me a couple of different options for completion of work. Stayed within my budget and completed on time. <br />"

FAQs for brick or stone siding: install or completely replace projects in New Holland, PA

Brick siding offers numerous advantages, including high durability and resistance to harsh weather conditions, requiring minimal maintenance and lasting for generations. It provides natural insulation, enhancing energy efficiency by regulating indoor temperatures year-round. Brick is fire-resistant, improving home safety, and reduces external noise for a quieter indoor environment. Its timeless aesthetic appeal boosts curb appeal and can increase your home's resale value.

Yes, you can add brick to an existing house. One option is to remove the current siding and install full brick masonry, which involves laying traditional bricks with mortar for a solid brick exterior. Alternatively, you can opt for brick veneer siding, a thinner layer of real or manufactured brick applied over the existing structure. Brick veneer is typically more affordable and easier to install while still providing the aesthetic benefits of brick. Both methods can enhance your home's appearance and value.

Yes, installing brick siding often provides a significant return on investment. With an average ROI of around 77%, and some returns exceeding 80%, brick siding enhances curb appeal, energy efficiency, and longevity, making your home more attractive to potential buyers and potentially increasing resale value.

Brick siding is known for its exceptional longevity, often lasting over 100 years when properly maintained. Regular maintenance, like repointing mortar joints, ensures its durability over time. Brick veneer, while thinner than full brick masonry, is durable and can last up to 50 years or more with proper care. Both options offer long-lasting protection and value for your home.

When choosing brick siding, consider your budget, as costs can vary depending on brick type and installation method. Also, consider your desired aesthetic; different bricks offer various colors, textures, and styles to complement your home's architecture. Installation time and complexity are factors, with options like brick veneer being quicker and less labor-intensive than full brick masonry. Additionally, assess the maintenance requirements and durability to select the best option for your long-term needs.

Alternatives to brick siding include vinyl siding, which is cost-effective and low-maintenance and offers a variety of colors and styles. Wood siding provides a natural, classic look but requires more upkeep to prevent weather damage. Fiber cement siding is durable and can mimic the appearance of wood or masonry without the high maintenance. Each alternative has its own advantages, so consider factors like budget, aesthetics, and maintenance when making your choice.
