"In November of 2016, Mr. Prouty responded quickly to my request for a quote. I analyzed the top of the chimney and agreed that a concrete chimney cap needed to be poured to fix the poor job that the builder's mason ad done five years earlier. However he said it was too cold to do concrete work and that he would do it in the spring. He returned in the spring to review the condition of the top of the chimney and we scheduled a date of service. The crew that did the work was right on time, explained what they were doing, were neat and professional in their installation and the removal of the form once the concrete was cured. I've delayed writing a review until almost a year had passed to make sure that their work resolved the problem. I can safely say that the diagnosis was spot on and the new chimney cap has eliminated the leak. I will certainly use Prouty's again for all my chimney work."

"After reading reviews on Angie's List, we gave Jay Gleason of The Home Wise Pros a call. Jay arrived on time for our consultation appointment, and was very well prepared. During our consultation he displayed numerous examples of previous jobs and their process through photographic documentation. He explained in detail all of the materials they use and why, and helped us choose a quality product that was not excessively priced. During the walk around, he pointed out differences between our old roof and new roof's our neighbors were enjoying. Jay was also very quick to point out that we did not need new gutters, spouts, or any other additional add-ons. On installation day, Jay arrived early with his crew soon following, and explained the events of the day in detail. The area around the house was well prepared for protection, and the crew was on the roof on time. While Jay was not onsite throughout the entire day, he came back to check in often enough that we didn't notice. When he was not on site, he called to check-in with progress updates and to check if we needed to leave (so he could advise his crew to pause). His crew were very respectful and professional. The job and clean up were completed well within the estimated time to completion. The next day, Jay came over to make a final inspection, and to sweep the yard again for stray nails (with a magnet). He showed us the pictures of our roof that were taken throughout the previous day's work, and answered any remaining questions. Dealing with Jay Gleason and The Home Wise Pros has been one of the most pleasant experiences we have ever had hiring professionals. We will recommend Jay and his company to all of our friends and family, and will certainly hire The Home Wise Pros again if needed."

"FIVE STARS FROM BEGINNING TO END!! I needed to have the shingles replaced on the rear portion of my roof. I scheduled 5 different roofers to come out to give me estimates. Jason was not only almost $2,000 cheaper than the others, he also pointed out some things that needed immediate attention on the front portion of my roof that nobody else had mentioned. He contacted me the week before letting me know that we were still on for the originally scheduled date and what to expect as it got closer. On the day of the install, Jason remained onsite while his large crew completed the job. When all was done I had a BEAUTIFUL new roof and my property was spotless!! You would have never believed that they were ever here!! I HIGHLY recommend Evans Quality Roofing and when it comes time to replace the front portion of my roof, I only need to make one call! "This spring/summer (2018) it rained a lot and the back of my home had a leak. It was supposedly repaired by re-caulking the sunroom but when it started raining again - the leak was back. I was so confused and was lucky to find Lewis. It was so hard to find someone to come out and look at the issue. Lewis was awesome! He returned my call the same day, was honest about the timeline and was able to look at the roof in a few days. He sent me pictures and recommended the repair. I could only see the leak inside my house and I knew I had the right person when he said: "do you have a leak in the rear corner of your home?" He explained that the flashing had come loose and he also gave me advice on another issue - cracks in the chimney. He also gave me guidance on the health of my roof. As a new homeowner, it was a relief to find someone who was honest and educated me on what I needed. I'll call Lou again this spring to repair the chimney and then again when the roof needs replacing."
