"Tom is an awesome guy. He has integrity and professionalism, and wants to do things the right way. At every turn, he listened to what we wanted and made it so. He stayed with budget and timelines, which we appreciated. We loved his vision for our basement. For example, we thought an island in the bar area would be good but he suggested it would disrupt the flow and make it feel crowded. I'm glad he cared enough to share his expertise because it ended up being the right call. When we moved into a new fixer-upperish home, we hired SMD to do a variety of projects from adding windows to backyard landscaping to granite installs. We couldn’t be happier with his work! I would highly recommend."

"They did an Awesome Job with replacing the fence and worked with me on my insurance adjustment. They also grounded some stumps that was included in the cost. The people they had install the fence were not illegals which was a big plus. Great guys I would defiantly recommend them to anyone and have."

"Josh did a wonderful, meticulous job. When running late with previous job, he immediately notified me and kept me updated as to the time frame. In addition, I had requested a last minute change to a specific painting technique on one wall that was considerably more challenging than my initial request and he agreed to the task, happily. Excellent workmanship and expertise. Without hesitation, I strongly recommend Omni Services for home renovation projects. A+

FAQs for addition to existing structure building service projects in New-raymer, CO

You can typically raise your roof by four to eight feet, depending on your home's structure and roof design. The exact amount depends on factors like roof slope and framing support. Raising the roof creates additional interior space, enhances natural light, and increases your home's value. Consult a professional to determine the feasible height increase for your home.

Yes, you need a building permit to raise your roof. Obtaining a building permit ensures your project complies with local building codes and safety regulations. A professional contractor can assist with the permit and inspection process and ensure all legal and safety requirements are met. Your contractor will be familiar with building codes in your area, which can differ between cities or states.

While it's possible to raise a flat roof, it requires extensive structural modifications. Flat roofs lack the attic space and support structures of pitched roofs, so raising them involves significant engineering to ensure safety and durability. This process can be complex and costly, so professional assessment is essential before undertaking a project of this magnitude.
