"After dealing with numerous contractors, I feel compelled to share why I ultimately chose to give a 5-star rating to this particular company: Honesty - Right from the start, they were transparent about potential complications, which instilled a sense of trust in us. Their explanations made complete sense, and our trust was well-placed. Pre-construction Inspection - Prior to the demolition phase, we had concerns about rotten wood. Jacob and his team conducted a thorough pre-construction inspection, outlining possible scenarios. As it turned out, the issue wasn't significant, and Jacob honored his commitment. Workmanship - We were pleasantly surprised by the seamless coordination among the team. It was evident that they had been working together for quite some time. They treated our property with respect and consistently cleaned up after themselves. Quality - The end result surpassed our expectations, particularly in regards to the stone fabrication, which presented some complexities. They handled it exceptionally well. Timeline - The project was completed a remarkable 8 days ahead of the estimated finish date. Project Management - Jacob, the project manager, demonstrated exceptional competence. He was consistently on top of everything and promptly addressed any questions or concerns we had. Additionally, we received frequent photo updates before and during the construction process. The project started soon after we signed a contract and it went smooth without any issues or unexpected costs. They finished on time and I am very satisfied with the outcome. "I usually don't use the cliche "we couldn't be happier," but we really couldn't be happier with our new paver driveway installed by Falkon. We solicited three bids from companies found on Angie's list. One estimate was really high. A second estimate seemed too good (low) to be true. Based on the Angie's List ratings, I expected Falkon to be about halfway between the two, but the Falkon was almost the same as the "too good to be true" estimate. After researching more and viewing the Falkon website which included past project photos, we selected Falkon for the project. Honestly, at first, I thought Val kind of rushed through the estimate/walkthrough, especially when compared to the experience I had with the other two contractors we spoke with. I'm not saying this to complain. I'm bringing this up to suggest that if you have a similar experience/feeling, don't let that scare you away. Val was always responsive to our needs throughout the decision-making process and the actual project. He never blew us off or made us feel like we were bothering him. Besides, what really counted was the execution of the project and the results. Both were outstanding. Val's crew appeared very experienced. They were punctual and professional. The progress they made each day was phenomenal. We have a pretty large driveway - approximately 1200 square feet with some curving on the borders. Day 1 - Demolished and removed/hauled away old asphalt driveway. Graded soil. Day 2 - Placed underlayments and compacted/graded again Day 3 - Placed all pavers - except for border. Day 4 - Placed bordering pavers and cut inner pavers meeting the border. We requested angled pattern requiring more (and angled) cuts. (By the way, we love the angled paver pattern. Worth the extra effort and cost.) Day. 5 - Filled in gaps between pavers. (about half day). Day 6 - Originally planned, but not needed because everything was completed on Day 5. We highly recommend Falkon Construction for any paver project you are considering."

"The craftsmanship of Cavalier/ David Moshe’s team was very impressive. All of the flooring in my two-story condominium was replaced with hardwood laminate. The work on all of the stairs, risers and landing showed great attention to detail. The old baseboard was removed throughout, and replaced with tall detailed baseboards, creating a custom finished look. Equal attention was paid to refinishing all of the ceilings, re-grouting and caulking all of the baths and kitchen tile, and to painting the old stained kitchen cabinets a fresh white. All of the crew were provided with “covid-19 masks”; the job was finished in the time frame given with no cost overruns. And, most remarkable of all, emails and texts to David during the job were returned within one hour!"

"We met Frankie and his team in 2018 when he came to help as a subcontractor on our project of building our dream home in a private community in Laguna Beach. Our first contractor didn't work out and it looked like our second contractor was also getting overwhelmed by the complexities of building a custom home designed by a well known architect whose work has been featured in magazines like Architectural Digest. After a few weeks on the job we realized that Frankie was the one who could get us out of this stressful situation, so we asked him if he could step in and take over the project. Although reluctant at first, in the end he took the challenge and on March 1st 2019 he became our contractor. One year later and one dream home finished, we couldn't have made a better choice and we couldn't have made it without Frankie and his team! They were fully dedicated and involved in every step, from framing, concrete, plumbing, electrical, steel, waterproofing, stucco, dry wall, hardscape, landscape, painting, masonry, custom stone and custom marble work, custom Italian windows installation. Frankie was always proactive, never took no for an answer, never gave up until the problem was solved, he was ready ahead of time for pulling permits and schedule inspections, making sure that his team and all the subs met the challenges of working in a community known for its strict rules for construction building. He also made sure to liaison with the neighbors and the HOH personnel. In one year we never got a complaint or a fine! He also constantly shopped around for the best deal and fought for every dollar that went into the house. Unlike other contractors, getting materials from construction stores was done early in the morning and late in the evening, outside the construction hours, so that the workflow on the construction site would run uninterrupted. Anyone who remodels or builds a home knows how incredibly stressful the process can be, not only financially, but emotionally as well. Throughout the most difficult moments of this emotional and financial rollercoaster year, Frankie was there to reassure us and never let us doubt the fate of our dream home. Thank you for not giving up on us, we couldn't have done it without you and your team!"

"Jose did a great job doing all the tile work for my bathroom. He was very professional and punctual and always cleaned up at the end of the day. It was obviously important to Jose to make sure I was happy with all the details. He always made sure he understood exactly how I wanted it done and never got offended or annoyed when I had questions or wanted to make small changes. In the end the tile was beautiful. He did such a great job on the bath tile that when he was done I gave him my patio tile job which also came out great. I highly recommend Jose and will definitely be hiring him again in the future. <br />"

"Our family interviewed a couple of contractors to help us remodel our guesthouse. From the start, Guy came with a professional and exciting energy that made us feel comfortable with going with Builderzz. Guy was upfront about what he thought was possible/safe and you knew he was paying attention because he never missed a detail! Although Builderzz was not the lowest quote, we appreciated the reasonable, itemized and thorough estimate! For this particular project, we had our guesthouse's kitchen, flooring, and bathroom redone. The remodel looks immaculate! The best part about working with Guy and Builderzz Remodeling was their dedication to quality and speed (it was not one or the other). I've worked with other contractors and they were NEVER on schedule. I was shocked at how quickly they moved through the house. However, I also really appreciated Guy's dedication to quality. Our piping was completely outdated and Guy automatically updated the piping because his team didn't feel comfortable with the old piping (I LOVE THAT!) On top of that, Guy was great about communicating timelines, expectations, and questions with me. I'm usually at work during business hours so Guy was great through e-mail and text which I really needed to complete this project. With any project there can always be hiccups. Guy and team never try to deflect blame or make excuses. I think this is extremely important and speaks volumes to their character. Guy always tries to make all things right. "This job could not have gone better. From beginning to end, this was fantastic. From the first call that was made, Efrain called me back that same day. We made an appointment to see the property and he arrived right on time. He did a thorough review of the situation and made a couple of different suggestions as well as hearing my thoughts and ideas. He was able to provide an estimate right away. It was clearly written out and itemized the process for payment and work to be done. My neighbor and I reviewed the estimate and agreed to the price and terms. Efrain was able to begin within a couple of days. He was right on time, every day, for the entire project. He would communicate each day and inform what the next steps would be. He made sure we understood the process and answered any questions. He also did not hesitate to ask us questions when he needed us to make a decision on some finishes for the fence and gate. EGALD Concrete was outstanding. Each day, the workers would clean up the entire area, prior to leaving. Some items would be piled neatly to the side, but this was an amazing site for a construction site. When the job was completed, right on time and on budget, the wall and the fence look GREAT! I have already asked Efrain to bid on another job at another one of my properties."
