"I have used Mason Works on a previous project in 2017 (new stone wall and front step repair) and was very happy with their work. This project was to replace driveway including matching previous stone wall, add granite curbing to right side and complete replacement of existing asphalt. Stone wall is great, granite curbing is great but does not fully match in size or color (they explained that this is typical when ordering granite) and driveway really is just OK. They use a more course asphalt mi than you'd typically see and they explained that it lasts longer. My issues with driveway: • Driveway not evenly smooth, quite a few rougher spots • Section on side of driveway that you can see it's not evenly rolled • They said to wait 5 days to park on it and I waited 3 weeks instead but there are several tire marks already from parking on it"

Moreover, communication with workers/sub-contactors was little challenging due to fact them not speaking English. Clearer communication on these fronts could have mitigated some of the concerns I had during the construction process. However, Khaled overcame these challenges by taking an active role in addressing any issues even when it meant that he had to re-do some of the activities again, bringing his workers back, or even him spending long hours to complete the job to our satisfaction. In summary, Abalia Construction delivered a basement finishing project that showcased creativity and was completed within the agreed-upon timeframe and within budget all with an excellent communications. Without any doubt, they will be the first I reach out to for my next project."
