He eventually got rid of the trap when we no longer heard squirrels, but he wouldn't plug the hole permanently even though we requested it (my guess, he kept open the option of this happening again so he could get more business). He came and went so unobtrusively to pick up and transport the trapped squirrels (they were taken to a wildlife refuge) that I often wasn't aware that he was here, even when he was walking around on the roof.
