"We have been dealing with contractors and painters for several years with much disappointment and dissatisfaction. Pitts Brothers was recommended by a neighbor when we were searching for an exterior painter for an outdated beach house we purchased out of state. Wow! We scheduled the estimate and they showed up when they said they would. Completed the estimate VERY timely. Gave an itemized breakdown of the costs (there were a few interior items like painting a 3 story foyer and replacing an outdated light in that foyer ), available start date and estimated completion date. Since it was purchased as a rental property, there were some work arounds from our end with renters and Joey was extremely accommodating. He scheduled exterior work when people were there and saved interior/going through the house for when it wasnâ t rented. We completed the walk through with him and HE pointed out things that he needed to touch up. It looked PERFECT to us! The site was left clean- cleaner than he found it! No empty drink cans/bottles, no cigarette butts, Not even spilled paint/splatter on the ground from the clean up- We aren’t used to that. He went out of his way to replace some loose boards on the front porch and step. He replaced a molding/ trim piece around an exterior door that they don’t even sell anymore so he had to buy wood pieces and create the piece. It looked original! He sent pictures almost daily (since we were out of town) of the progress, any questions/to clarify. Any expense outside of the original estimate was because we asked for something additional during the process. He was happy to clarify the request, give us an estimate on that, and add it to the list. When inclement weather interfered with planned exterior paint work, he rearranged and worked on some of the interior requests. Pitts Brothers showed up on time each day and worked a full day (8-3 or 4) with a short lunch break. I have never dealt with such professional contractors IN MY LIFE! I havenâ t dealt with many people as professional as Pitts Brothers in any line of work to be honest. So much so that if/when we need paint work done in our home state, I’ll call and see if they are willing to make a road trip :-)"

"We are very pleased with our experience with this company. They did a wonderful job installing new floors in our home. The owner is very nice and knowledgeable, always willing to guide customer towards the right direction. When we started shopping for wood floors, we did not know what we wanted. We researched online to see the difference between the type of wood floors and visited different stores. What I liked about Martinez was that the owner took the time to explain us in detail the difference between engineered and solid hardwood floors, gave us the space to deliberate which one we wanted, and didn't push for the sale. We ended up choosing a solid oak floor. Beautiful material and for a great price. It took about a week to get the wood and then acclimate it for a another week, I think. When it was ready, they began the installation, which included a staircase as well. They are very honest and respectful people. You can talk to the owner about your worries and we would answer you as soon as I can. They started installing the floor and worked fast, clean, and organized. When it comes to payment, they required a deposit to buy all the materials, (wood has to be paid in total) to order it, and when they are finished, you revise and approve the job to pay the rest. We are very meticulous when it comes to everything, I can recommend this company. The floors turned out beautiful, after the installation we decided to stain it to change the color, great decision. Oh boy our wood floors look amazing. I am rating this company 5 stars because there's no 10. Highly recommended folks"

She has a breath of knowledge that allows her to accommodate my tastes, but also ensure that the overall design is in sync with the design and location of my home.  She has  a very diplomatic way of suggesting when I'm going astray with my choices and in every case where she has told me "Trust Me"  I have been delighted ! "It went relatively well. Eric, the owner/manager, was very responsive and customer-service oriented. Eric and his team also spent time during the quote process to advise on different aspects that were not brought up in other quotes, which helped with the final deliverable meeting expectations (i.e. eliminating residual soffits from previous exterior pocket doors and smoothing exterior wall surface around new doors). I believe we were one of his earlier clients to do an impact glass window project this large. The initial installation of the windows, removal of shudder material went relatively quickly; however, the installers completed quite a bit of work, that was not up to our or Eric's quality standards, resulting in re-do, reworking time. Successive attempts resulted in a switch-out out of the team and a different crew. As a customer I appreciated the dedication to quality work, but would have appreciated it being completed more quickly. FL Project Masters (FLPM) has a few key guys that are really good (e.g. Mike Sipes, in particular) that did exceptional inspection, follow-up, and quality finishing work. In short, although there were a couple of hiccups in the project due to the initial team, FLPM Eric kept his word, followed through, communicated, and made sure the project was delivered and very close to budgeted cost. I would feel comfortable recommending FLPM for other jobs."

"I was upstairs and I heard a lot of noise and the house started shaking. There were cracks inside the house. I asked what happened and they said the jack slipped. After that they said everything was good, looked level. They were supposed to redo my front steps by tearing the whole thing down and reconstructing it, but they talked me into just letting them fill in the area under the stairs with concrete and they did a sloppy job as fast as he could so they could get paid and be done with the projects. Now water gets under those area he filled and goes into the foundation. The hand railing is also not secured well to the concrete and I requested the redo that. I realized after they were done that the house was not level by the garage door. They hired a person to install a new door and he had real trouble getting the old one taken down and then had trouble with the install as well. The crew did not clean up after themselves at all. My niece and I spent 5 hours cleaning up all the bricks and concrete. One day they left my front door open and my house was filled with concrete dust everywhere. I called them several times to ask them to come out and look at the spot above the garage that was still sagging. They would tell me they were going to come out once they get more work in the area, but never came. A few months ago he said I never complained or called him. He still hasn't been out here to look at the house and I don't think he's planning on it. The last time we talked he said he was going to call before he came out but I haven't heard from him. I was responsible for repairing the drywall crack on the interior, but was assured there wouldn't be many, however, there are huge cracks all over the house."
