""Wow!!!" is the first thing that comes to mind with Hampton Roads Water Services. We had a pipe that connects to our water heater that developed two pinhole leaks that got items in my closet wet and we had to shut the water off to the home to stop any further possible damage. The owner contacted me not too long after I posted my request for a quote by text message late at night and they were able to get one of their employees to my home before 11 a.m. Joseph did all of the work we needed quickly and efficiently and did a fantastic job! The rate for all of the work that was done was also very reasonable which was truly great! I most certainly would use this company again for any clean water repairs that I need to be completed in the future. Joseph also gave me his professional opinion on some concerns I had in other areas as well that confirmed what I thought was the issue. If you are looking for a great company to work on your clean water issues, this company is one I would say do give them a call and not worry about if you are making a good decision or not---call them!"

"Rich came out to replace our sludge-filled, overheating, failing old water heater. It was a difficult situation and he took the time and had the patience to do the job right. The fee was under the national average, reasonable. The water heater is located in a closet off the master bath and at first it would not drain. Rich knew just what to do. Took his time to get old one out and did not mess up our house. Cleaned up behind himself and left us with a larger water heater (as requested) and worked out how to fit it into our small location. Replaced all the plumbing to the water heater and now we have a better made, self-cleaning, more efficient electric water heater to provide us with lots of clean hot water."

"Angie's list saved us an $85 dollar service fee and got us a reputable heating and air company. Kudos Angie's List. Rose Brothers Heating and Ac was excellent.  Even during a busy season they were able to get us an appointment quickly and the serviceman was right on time.  We did have two different representatives but it all worked out.  The first serviceman overlooked a sequencer problem on the blower unit due to the low coolant charge but the company dispatched an on-call serviceman within the hour when we called to state the unit was still not cooling.  The second serviceman identified the sequencer in a very reasonable amount of time and quickly had us cooling again.  There was no service fee for the second visit but there was an install/part fee for the sequencer.  Overall we had a very satisfactory experience and would definitely use Rose Brothers Heating and Ac again.  My only wish is that we would have used them earlier.

"My mom lives in Hampton and I needed to find someone to investigate a problem with the ductwork under her house.  A previous HVAC service tech indicated that she might need to replace all the duct work and that the furnace could go at any time...scare tactic.  I contacted Lighthouse based on reviews in Angie's List and the fact that they are in Hampton (I'm in Va. Beach).  Lighthouse went out and checked under the house and found one disconnected duct, and said the rest of the duct work was in  good condition.  He said that although the system was old, we could probably still get a few more years of life out of it.  I called him back to do the repair work and also set up a maintenance contract.  They were quick to respond, on time when scheduled, and I think they charged
a reasonable amount for the work conducted.  I also got a follow-up  call after the work was done to explain exactly what had been done and what they found upon examination of the system.  Overall I was very pleased with their service.

"Installer came unprepared to to fix fire caulk he damaged as well as not having a lift device to get the water heater onto it's stand. Had to go buy fire caulk at my expense and find a board for him to slide new water heater up to get it on the heater stand."

"Danny came on a service call to look at an exterior outlet that did not work when I bought my house years ago. He did a lot of detective work to find out where the issue was, and gave me some repair options. He recommended scheduling a new appointment with a half-day deal, rather than continuing the repair with the service call rate. He also gave me a list of supplies that I could pick up in advance to save some time (and money). When he came back, he installed a new junction box, connected the wires to a circuit (it didn't work because the wires were just tied off), and replaced and sealed the outlet. He had to remove and reinstall the dishwasher in the process, and cleaned up the work area well. Danny was very nice, answered all my questions, and took the time to do things right. I plan to hire him again."
