"This is a difficult one to write because, in the end, I think the actual work done was completed very well and professionally. We had a tankless water heater installed to replace our aging tank. The problem i have is with their business practices and lack of effective/accurate communication. A two-day job stretched to a week+ due to workers leaving early every day for one reason or another. Admittedly, one of the days was understandable due to a family emergency and I absolutely cannot begrudge somebody leaving early to attend to their child. That’s just being a good dad. The job completed on a Friday and I was repeatedly assured that an county inspector & Pure Plumbing employee would be arrive early Tuesday (Monday was Memorial Day) to close the job. Nobody ever showed up and I was told nothing. I came to learn that Pure Plumbing plays some shady games when it comes to permitting a project. They (illegally) do the work without pulling permits. Then, after it is done, they submit drawings of the completed work to get an after-the-fact permit pulled. It’s only then that they request an inspection which happens a couple weeks after the fact. They also expect full payment before the work passes inspection. I tried to contact the owner of the company (Andrew Aranda) via phone and the email his office supplied in order to discuss/resolve the issue, but never heard a reply. Unpermitted work exposes the company and the homeowner to potential fines and long delays in completion. Even though I love the work they did and would love to use them again, I would hesitate because of legally questionable methods that cast a shady layer over the operation. Are there other hidden corners being cut? Their talented roster of tradesmen/women isn’t worth doing business with because legal games are being played with the county. I plan on contacting a Clark County agent to discuss this job and warn them of potential future dishonesty."

"I called Don to fix a leaking water line from a previous fridge that had been taken out that had an ice/water maker. Don came to my appt exactly on time and he was efficient and quick for the repair. No talking on cell phone re private calls etc. It ended up being a less involved repair than originally anticipated and he did not try to upsell me or do more complicated work than was necessary so the final cost came in a bit under original phone quote which was very nice. This is an new home for me and there was another concern that came up last night that Don could not stay for to complete bc he had another appt after me to be on time for (great reliability for all his customers!) but he did take the time to explain what was needed for that future appt which was courteous. Also I am a single woman and felt completely safe having Don in my home. In an additional plus, he was friendly to my dog who I only had to put away bc heâ s a wild boy and very nosy but Don seemed that he would be comfortable around a calm dog. I would absolutely hire Don again."

"I hired Steve to install all of the electrical components for a newly built high-end carpentry workshop. The job required 3 x 120V wall outlets for each wall, 1 x 230V outlet for special equipment, and an outside switch for an AC unit to be installed. I was very impressed by Steve's work ethic and the overall work that he did. His work is excellent and it perfectly matched the caliber of the high-end commercial build quality of my shop. He drove all over Las Vegas looking for the correct parts for the job (supply chain shortages) before coming over to spend 9 + hours per day working on the installation. We wanted to replace our existing 20 years old systems with new state of the art technology with an emphasis on efficiency and reliability. Based on internet research Trane is #1 in the market. Again, based on internet research “Johnny On the Spot Air Conditioning & Heating” (JOHNNYS) are rated TOPS in the Las Vegas market by the BBB, Google reviews and Yelp. Our experience with JOHNNYS was GREAT! As a lifelong comparison shopper JOHNNYS was my first call, followed by many other quotes for Trane AC systems and the manufacturer that is generally rated #2 in the market. JOHNNYS was the best deal and the had the best representative/agent (James) that visited my home. Hector (the lead technologist) and his install team did a great job! They were -- on time, quick, always followed COVID protocol and left the work site supper clean. Replacing a split AC system is not a trivial task. For a process that is large/complex/physically demanding Hector and his team, just got started and ground through the process like professionals (that they are). I was particularly impressed by the check list or run-down Hector did at the end each day with his team. I felt extremely comfortable and confident with both James and Hector through the entire process. One added note: “Johnny On the Spot Air Conditioning & Heating” answered the phone on the second ring every time… cannot say that about every company I got quotes from here in Las Vegas."

"I hired Yes! because they were recommended by Home Depot. I had them replace two air conditioning and furnaces for my home in addition to the hot water heater. They are not the cheapest in town, but the Home Depot offered 24 months of 0% financing. Also, I hired Yes! because I wanted a company that had been around for some time after so many small businesses went out of business during the Covid lockdown. According to their website, they have been in business for 50 years since 1971 (BTW, 1971 was a great year). I hope that I will receive excellent service from this company going forward as I was planning to keep their maintenance contract to prolong the life of my HVAC system as well as the hot water heater."
