So called Magic Broom and Blair scheduled me twice for an appointment because of a staff shortage (CoVid/pandemic), but Bryan & Dylan came out and was able to fix/clean my gas fireplace and fix the burner switch. Bryan had the magic touch with the pilot light. He was very thorough with cleaning and repairing. Dylan was most helpful assisting Bryan and determining the right switch at the house electrical panel. Everything was safely and professionally done. If I can’t get the pilot light started for next Winter, I will definitely call Magic Broom for service again."

"We originally hired Boyd to replace our part asphalt shingle, and part membrane roof. They did a great job, left the yard clean, and were very responsive to us. Later we did some remodeling and installed a new furnace, and we asked them to come out to be sure that the skylights and vent pipes were properly installed in the new roof. "The chimney was inspected and repaired with a new stainless steel liner. The cracked terra cotta tiles were supposed to be removed as a part of the contract. They were not. I called to see why not and to receive a credit for this portion of the contract. My call was never returned. I hired a second more reputable company to review the work and to replace my gas logs. They told me there was no reason that the terra cotta could not have been removed."

"I did a competition on replacing our basement door, reviewing both the solution for a Signet Door and including price installed. After reviewing several solutions from several top rated companies, we decided that On the Level Contracting (OTL) (Peter Psihas) had the best solution for the outside trim with a 12 9/16” Frame Depth. I than went to the 3 lowest bidders (including OTL) with the final configuration to ensure everyone was bidding on the same configuration. After receiving the 3 final bids from top rated companies, OTL had the lowest price. After Peter ordered the door from ProVia, Peter provided me the estimated date he would be receiving the door from Provia. When the door was received Peter notified me and worked with me to schedule the installation date based upon our availability. The installation team from OTL arrived in the schedule time, verified they had the correct door prior to starting the work and did an excellent job installing the replacement door. Peter can to our house prior to the job being completed to ensure I was satisfied and went over the warranty information. Prior to signing the final contract, I talked to Peter about providing the Aluminum and replacing the Aluminum Capping to the side of the garage door that was dented. Peter and his father (George) replaced the capping matching the bends exactly to the top and the other side. I highly recommend using OTL.!!!"

As not visible I requested to use what was available and kindly offered to me at a significant savings (over ordering the color match) for which I was most appreciative. The two men, Dave and Israel were very nice and expertly completed the repair under time and under original quote! Of Note| while Patrick was getting the ladder from his car, a neighbor approached him to come and look at his roof and he absolutely DID DO IT after my estimate was done! "They began by moving out the big furniture from the room. They covered the floor very carefully.  Then they removed the crown molding and the ceiling fan. They demoished the old ceiling and figured out how to replace the existing 100-year old structure supporting the ceiling with a new, improved version.  They then put up a new plaster ceiling and finished up by painting the whole room.  The first day they were there, Mr. Boyd sent his engineer (who had given me the estimate) so he could see what was going to be needed.  After that, the 3 guys who continued with the job were always punctual and professional and their work was excellent. <br />"
