Customers say: Quality work

"I was in need of a new kitchen faucet,Todd met me at Home Depot and helped me pick out the correct faucet that I needed. He made an appointment with me to install it, he was very professional I was amazed that he took his shoes off as soon as he walked in the house. He is very courteous, and professional. He did a great job, I was extremely satisfied with his work. he is the only Plummer I will use from now on. Grace Roberts"

"In the time of COVID-19, my husband and I had a hard time finding a plumber to come out as swiftly as possible when we noticed discoloration on the wall behind our toilet. Tim came recommended through another, very similar reviewing and contracting website, and we could not be happier. Within an hour of speaking with him, he was at our house assessing the job. He removed the toilet, cut into our wall (very carefully and as neatly as possible), replaced our original copper piping with pex tubing, and reinstalled the toilet - all on the same day. I could not be happier with how quickly and efficiently he got us back up and running, as this is our only bathroom. We received our invoice promptly with a detailed explanation of the work performed and also a picture of the repair. Very fair pricing for the extensive emergency repair required. I plan on using Tim again for all future plumbing work. We highly recommend him!"

"what an amazing work ethic!  They called almost immediately after I purchased deal on angies list-came by- did measurements-explained all elements of the job.
When the time came to installation--they were done in no time and it looks great!!
Suggested a plumber- who did great work--re-figured the plumbing to allow us easy access
if and when we needed to remove any pipes or hoses.
Sal also made me a cutting board from the granite that was cut out for the sink!
It looks beautiful!

"So far they have been very responsive. We are waiting on a quote to see if we are actually going to use them. The first quote was $110,000 that they gave us in July and the second one was $150,000 in August. They are one of two companies that we are bidding."

"We called Don for our septic inspection and to check on some plumbing concerns we had with our house and I just have to say we were amazed. Not only did he fit us right into the schedule, he was extremely thorough and efficient. It's not often you have someone so easy to work with and extremely timely. 10/10 recommend and will absolutely be using hin for any future hiccups/needs. Trust me, you need to call him if you need anything done!! Absolutely impressed"

"The service call was placed on 12/10; vendor callled same day but was unable to respond until 12/14. He was prompt and declared the faucet was unreparable.. I asked if he could not try to repair but he said he cold not do that because if it din'fix the problem he could not replace the faucet. He stated that the replacement would not be exact but similar. My faucet had separaate lever for turn on/off but he said the replacement would probably be part of the sprout. We did not really appreciate this but he offered no probable favorable solution.. Not happy with response time but realize a close to weekend call caused this. Did not appreciate not even attempting repair."

FAQs for faucets, fixtures and pipes repair or replace projects in North Stonington, CT

A minor, easily accessible leak can be resolved in about three hours, while a large or hard-to-reach leak may take up to three days. If flooring or cabinets need to be built back, the timeline can run several weeks to cover material deliveries and installation. Every job begins with detection, proceeds to repair, and concludes with restoring your foundation’s strength.

Slab leaks are most common in areas where the ground is in motion, such as those prone to earthquakes or highly expansive soils. In places like California, constant shifting puts stress on foundations and pipes. Stay ahead of trouble by monitoring your water bill, inspecting visible slab edges, and scheduling routine inspections to catch leaks early and maintain your home's safety.

Keep an eye out for damp spots, rising water bills, the sound of running water when taps are off, or staining and sagging along the foundation. Check exposed slab edges during routine walk-arounds and note any uptick in indoor humidity or pest traffic. The moment something looks off, call a pro—fast action protects your slab and wallet.

Most policies cover slab-leak repairs tied to a covered event, such as earthquakes, severe storms, or a fallen tree. They often won’t cover gradual issues, such as root intrusion or corrosion-related pinhole leaks. Every policy is different, so be sure to contact your carrier for the fine print before any problems arise.
