They were able to rebuild my chimney where you couldn’t tell it was rebuilt. The porch, back wall and the decorative brick all look great! I’ve never seen anyone matches mortar color so perfectly! They were also punctual, clean and organized. I have to admit that I can be an extremely picky person; I know exactly what I want, so I might not be the easiest customer to work with, but everyone at Pisani Contracting was patient with me; they listened to what I wanted, and executed flawlessly! "Great. Met with Chris (the owner) the Friday before and he got up on the roof and inspected everything on the stack. He took photos while he was up there so he could show me what was causing the issue of the leak. He came inside and inspected the fireplace. We went over all the details and he explained to me how doing this repair now would save me over $3,500 in repairs if ignored and left as is. The work crew was led by James himself. It was completed 2 days prior to his original estimate and the cost was just under the original quote.

The new mortar color and texture was a perfect match to the original from 1957. He was even able to reuse some of the original brick and match the replacement brick perfectly.

The work was performed safely and the crew was very professional at all times while they were at my home. The work area was kept neat while the work was performed and was spotless when he finished. (This was important to me because I have 3 young children and a large dog)

"A-1 Roofing & Siding did a fine job on my roof. There was concern that the plywood base was spongy but it turned out that it only needed a new sheet or two. While up there, they noticed that the chimney needed some minor repair that they were able to take care of. There was a crew below to clean up as the roofers dropped the old shingles, etc. A new ice/water barrier was installed and new flashing around the chimney. 50 year shingle warranty and 10 year labor warranty was included. There was concern that the dumpster would damage my new concrete driveway (3 mos. old), but there was no damage from that. All in all, the job only took about 2 days to finish. I would definitely hire them again for this kind of job."

Bill was on time and did a perfect job with a challenging task (our fireplace exterior, being stone, is extremely uneven). He did extra work to seal the doors to the stone and it looks gorgeous! I told him the week since he fixed our damper had greatly eliminated the cold blasts that had been entering the house, and this should completely solve the problem. The work Bill did was far better than anything we could have done and it looks terrific. It adds to the value of our home and increases our comfort.

I learned that Dr. Sweep also does masonry work (such as tuck pointing and cement repairs) and I will definitely hire them again.
