"We had a new concrete driveway installed in an area that used to be sandy, and within 2 weeks, one of our plumbers (who was under the house installing a new hose bib right next to the driveway) came out crawling with ticks, which have never been a problem in our yard or house.  I saved one of the ticks to give to the Agricultural Extension agent who came out the next day, he took it to their lab, and their staff identified it as a juvenile male dog tick.  Last time we had a dog outside was two years ago, but you can read stories everywhere about ticks burrowing into sand to lay eggs that can remain dormant for years, hatching and emerging only with a disturbance.  Like excavation for a new driveway, for example. <br /> Brassure's came out right away and proposed a monthly spray around the perimeter of the house, emphasizing areas around the new driveway and just under the edge of the house. Each month, the technician came to the house on time, stopped to warn us about keeping kids indoors or away from sprayed area, then treated the house exactly as described. Every month went the same way, these guys were good. No unexpected disruptions, always quick, efficient, professional.  And they knew their stuff, too. We talked about the nearest vegetation (phragmites) being too far from the house to be an ongoing source of ticks, and they knew exactly how to limit their service (to the perimeter of the house) to be effective. We talked about the deer that frequent the area, and how deer ticks would not have the right habitat to encroach on our yard.  <br /> We never had another recurrence of ticks, of any kind. <br /> I would use this service again in a heartbeat.  Be educated, know what you want, tell them what you need, and Brassure's will do the job.  Great service, great experience.  Highly recommend. <br />"

He talked me through some trouble shooting, and let me know while it wasn't something a plumber would normally handle, I should call the water filter company for service.
