"I had the need to replace an outside spigot that had split due to freezing. LJ gave me a call at 11:30 to set up an appointment. Kyle was out at 2 pm and was finished by 3 pm. He did excellent work and the replacement spigot works perfectly! KC Metro Plumbing was less than half the bid I had received earlier in the day, and they had it replaced in the same day! The repair option was less expensive, though not guaranteed to resolve the issue - as a few different things could be the root cause and it may need replaced entirely. I chose to repair it, and thankfully it resolved the issue at very little cost. We had a list of several electrical projects we needed done: (1) a bedroom wall switch replaced (2) 2 lights added to our basement (3) a kitchen fluorescent fixture re-wired to accept LED lighting (4) a bathroom fan replaced and (5) an outlet with a dedicated circuit installed in our garage for the control box of a sprinkler system. The team of Todd and Tyler arrived at our house at the appointed time and got right to work. All of the work was done very professionally and we are very happy with the result. They were actually able to replace the motor in the old bathroom fan, which was less expensive than replacing the entire fan, and that was fine with us! The invoice was very clear about what work was done and we got a nice discount because we are ASAP members. They provided a prompt free evaluation and estimate, didn't try to intimidate us with scare tactics on the repair needed or sell us products or service we didn't need. When we called with an additional technical question we were immediately transferred to the owner who provided the answer immediately. The other estimates we received were all over the place and one of which was 4x the cost AND would've left us with damaged walls we would have had to repair at additional cost with someone else afterwards. He found the sources of the problem and said repairs would need to be performed and asked I wanted to have someone come out and provide and estimate. Jay came out the next morning and looked at the situation described by Simon and gave us a couple of options to solve the problem.
