He showed us how to start the pilot light in case we needed to do it in the future. He made sure to take all the trash with him. I had called the day before to get an estimate and they were able to schedule us in right away. This company had the better price and warranty from the others I asked for prices. Abbey from the office was also very friendly and quick to send me a written estimate. There were no hidden fees and I paid exactly what they said it would be. "In my line of work sometimes I run into thing that need to be fixed on homes before a person can refinance or purchase the home. My customer was refinance an rental property but the roof was bad and it had to be fixed before he could refinance. The customer didn't have the money to fix the roof and was going to pull the money out on the refinance. I called Steve at Denali Roofing and he said that he could fix the roof and he could get a check for it after closing. He met with my customer and gave him a bid and my customer also got a bid from another roofer. Denali roofing came in 2,000.00 lower then the other company and of course my customer went with Denali roofing. I was able to close the loan on this and my customer was so happy with the work that Denali Roofing did he said that he would continue to use them. "My old water heater went out yesterday and of course leaked water all over. I shut it off and stopped the leaking. Called early this morning looking for someone to install a new one. Jim was actually sent over by another plumber who could not get to my job right away. Jim showed up, looked at the job, we talked about the options and he gave me a bid. Let to get the new water heater. We back in about thirty minutes. He had to make some changes to the water and gas lines. Added shut offs and installed new one. Took the time to explain operation and maintenance of the new one. Cleaned up the work site. Removed all debris and old water heater. I was impressed with his work and his attitude.

"Well, the first time the replacement was ordered it was the wrong one, which of course, delayed the installation a week. When it was finally installed I had to pay an additional $850 for code upgrades. This I was not informed of by Home Shield. Then we noticed that there was water on the garage floor and found that the pipe coming in from the wall was leaking at the wall so had to call the plumbing company back out to fix it. They first tried to say it was not their fault but since there wasn't a leak before they installed they did fix it. I have used Home Shield a few times before and never had a problem. Some of the companies they use are not the best so you have to research them before you commit. I have found HS service to be good if you do your homework. At the end of the day I was without hot water for almost 3 weeks but it was do to the plumbing company they sent out."

"Went well as could be expected, needed a part and ordered, when part came in found out we needed another part which delayed fixing our heat for almost a week in total, but having a carrier unit and not having parts in town is what made it difficult, not A+ plumbing and heating. I will be hiring for all future plumbing and heating work!"
