"The majority of the time I contacted this company the people answering the phone were very friendly and courteous. On the day of my install, the last person I spoke to was not as nice. Regardless, that didn’t give me a bad impression of the company as a whole. Chad, the service technician, was awesome. "Scott and crew were very professional & friendly. They showed up to work a planned half day to find the bad pipe. After not locating the pipe in the location we had hoped, Scott & crew waited while my husband and helper removed cabinets so they could continue the job on past the agreed upon time, working well in to the evening to find, diagnose and replace the bad pipe. Scott offered us SEVERAL options to fix our issue (which wasn't an entirely easy fix), allowing us to decide which route we wanted to take. Every step of the way, Scott asked BEFORE doing any work. Scott provided a price range before the job began, so we had a general idea of the scope of work. At the end of the day, the work came back on the high end of the estimate, to be expected with the scope of the job and the hours he and his crew spent at our house. Scott also offered to write a Plumbers Report for our insurance in hopes some of the work could be covered, even after an initial denial. I'm not sure if he has done this yet, but it was nice of him to offer to help us recoup some of the money based on the extensive work he and his crew had to to do get our drain working again. Homeowners insurance does not cover broken or deteriorated pipes under your concrete slab if there is no visible damage ABOVE the floor. Unfortunately, the damage left behind after digging and replacing plumbing is extremely expensive, so beware if you're on a slab and have plumbing issues due to age & deterioration. We appreciate Scott's friendly professionalism, quick response to calls & ALWAYS asking before moving on to the next step, walking us through the entire process. Would highly recommend Scott to anyone looking for plumbing needs. We hope to have Scott back to tackle our bathroom remodel at a later date. "We called Reliance to help us remove old copper piping and cap-off the supply lines before we took down an old shower stall as part of a basement bathroom remodeling project. Reliance was our only call to a plumber simply based on prior good experience with them.  <br /> George arrived within 30 minutes of our call, assessed the situation and gave us an estimate. During the assessment he gave us some advice for how and where to run the supply lines to the future brand-new shower unit.  Once agreed on all the work to be done, he moved ahead with the work. He was tidy, cleaned-up after the work was done, and went around to every fixture in the house to ensure all the air was out of the water lines, no leaks where the repairs were made, and took his tools outside and finished writing the bill. <br /> Before we settled on payment, he checked his work again and made sure everything was good. He reminded me of the warranty on their work and offered to come back out if there were a problem. <br /> My only complaint - and it's a small one - was the price, even with the A.L. 15% discount. It's been a while since I last hired a plumber, so I had a bit of sticker shock. However, the value, service, prompt response time, and professionalism I received made it all worth it.
