"I had a disappointing experience with Mister Sparky. During the service, the technician installed a breaker in my panel that clearly specifies only Eaton breakers should be used. That raised immediate concerns about attention to manufacturer requirements and code compliance. I also experienced significant issues with an automated lighting system. Multiple technicians were sent out, and I was repeatedly told the problems were related to my new construction home rather than the work performed. After ongoing troubleshooting and no resolution, the entire lighting system was ultimately removed. This was a frustrating and costly experience. While this occurred nearly four years ago, it left a lasting impression. I?m not sure why Angi is requesting a review now, but based on my experience, I would not recommend this company."

"They prey on the vulnerable, old folks and widows. They use pressure and are extremely expensive. I have been trying to contact them since March 26, no answer, no reply. Their positive reviews are probably solicited from friends and family. There are three in my building that have had very bad experiences with this company. DO NOT TRY YOUR LUCK WITH THEM. They charged $850 for a job the competitor was $99. Their parts price of over $1600 competitors estimate $300 to $1000"

FAQs for attic or whole house fan installation projects in Palm Coast, FL

Installing an attic fan lowers attic temperatures and reduces moisture, protecting stored items and extending the life of roofing materials. It also prevents mold, mildew, and paint deterioration, enhancing energy efficiency and comfort in the home. This type of protection helps you avoid costly repairs in the future and maintains the integrity of your home.

Installing an attic fan may require multiple professionals. A roofing specialist or carpenter can create the vent and mount the fan securely, while a licensed electrician connects the system to the home's electrical supply. A dedicated attic fan installer may be able to tackle all of these areas themselves, so be sure to confirm what services they can provide. Hiring qualified professionals ensures the installation is safe and the attic fan operates reliably.

The lifespan of an attic fan depends on the type and how well it is maintained. Passive attic fans can last 40 to 50 years, while electric and solar models typically last 10 to 15 years. Regular cleaning and maintenance help ensure the fan operates reliably and safely. Ask your installation pro for their recommendations for ongoing maintenance and service to help your attic fan last for as long as possible.
