"Mr. Ferrell first connected his computer to my computer via internet and worked for quite a few hours trying to determine what exactly was wrong. The next day he continued working from his computer for several hours. He determined he would have to have my desktop tower to complete the repair. He and my son met in Huntsville to exchange the tower. He then cleaned up a lot of what was wrong and reloaded Windows 10. He deleted the D: drive which had way too much memory allotted to it. The tower was returned and I plugged it all back together and it is working better than it did when I first purchased it. I would use him again and I recommend him highly to anyone needing computer updating and/or repair. His work is warrantied and he is very personable, knowledgeable, and helpful."

"Excellent. Waylon and his team were very professional, answered all questions I had and performed superb service. Within the past year, I have had a few issues with my HVAC system. First go around, I contacted a different company who came by to access the issue and repair. For the time and labor involved (less than an hour) I feel I paid an outrageous amount but it needed to be done (summer time in the Panhandle of FL). The second issue, which turned out to be a faulty capacitor was handled by Waylon at H&W. Again another less than hour job to access and fix the issue but this time Waylon explained why this fix would be a "Band-Aid" to a bigger problem and advised looking into replacing my unit soon due to it's age and wear. All in all this cost me a third of the price from the previous visit by the other company. Fast forward to this past week, I contacted H&W and another company to get a quote for HVAC replacement. The first company came by and gave a detailed review of what would be done. H&W did the same but forwarded me the quote same day. The other company didn't get back to me until 3 days later, needless to say they missed out. Waylon and his professional team came by and completed the job, ran through everything they took care of and even followed up on additional questions I had at the end. You will be doing yourself a disservice if you do not contact them for any HVAC issue, big or small."

"A year ago they responded to an SOS related to a full A/C failure. They were prompt and professional. It took several days, in the heat of the summer, till they were able to fix it, but they had to get a part from the west coast so we sweated through the ordeal. While they were working on replacing the main board, I also engaged them to clean the system. I thought the charge was high ($1000), but needed it done. A year later, one of the A/C mini-split heads stopped working. They came the next day. I paid $200 for them to trouble shoot it, which took approximately 20 minutes. (Subsequently another A/C service charged me only $95 to trouble shoot!) They said they would order the part and get back to me. After I week, I had not heard from them. When I called they said they could get the part but it would take 4-6 weeks. I said okay. What could I say. I left it in their trustworthy hands. After 6 weeks I heard nothing from them. I called. I left 4 messages, which were all unreturned. On the 5th try, someone answered. He said he couldn't get the part. Would have been nice to know that 5 weeks ago. Still puzzled why they didn't communicate with me and thus the low review. I have to say that I thought they were really nice people, but obviously my business wasn't that important to them. So be it. But a little courtesy and honesty would go a long way when servicing a small community like Key West. Because of the later incident, I wanted to give them an F, but that wouldn't be fair. If you're lucky, have deep pockets, and the problem isn't complicated, they are okay. Just be aware. I thought I had actually found a reliable service, but that wasn't the case."

"Chad, the Consultant is very knowledgeable on the functions and efficiency of the different systems. Very thorough explaining the levels of efficiency, pros/cons, etc. The level of service during the consultation was exceptional, and surpassed my expectations on the initial consultation from other local companies I reached out to for estimates. His thoroughness gave me confidence that the installation of the system would be just as exceptional. The company extended some courtesies I was not expecting prior to the installation. The installation was just as good as I was assured. Mr. Alexander, the owner, was at the house at the beginning of the installation to ensure everything was good and as expected. The team was considered, focused, thorough and very patient and respectful with my questions. They worked expeditiously, and did troubleshooting at the end to ensure it all worked properly, then cleaned up all the areas prior to leaving. I am very impressed with the service and overall quality of the work. I am very satisfied with the end result, and feel very grateful I did not settle with the other estimates I received from the other A/C companies. Based on my experience, and how selective I can be, I consider Alexander Air Conditioning a first class business and highly recommend it. I want to publicly thank Chad, because in my case, he was the face of the company, he represented well, he was genuinly interested in educating me, which resulted on my decision to select this company.
