"It went really well.  Mike and his team were so incredibly efficient and easy to work with.  And most importantly they listened to our requests and then actually took the time to do the things we asked them to do.  We had an easy yet very specific request for the hallway and they did exactly what we asked.  (We gave the same request to another contractor and they ended up doing business as usual instead of what we asked.)  They cleaned up the area and didn't leave a single mark on my walls.  This all seems like such common sense but we've had first hand experience with store contractors where these things didn't happen and my brand new walls were dented and marked.   We've had multiple bad experiences in the past using the "free" installation provided by the store where we purchased the carpet.  I would highly recommend taking control of your contractor and hiring the installation yourself.  It was much easier then I thought it would be. 
MWC also showed up on time and finished as promised.  And it actually ended up saving me money because I didn't have to take multiple days off of work.

"Mike Schmidt and his crew were awesome to work with and they did a wonderful job making my kitchen ideas come to life. My house was built in 1953 and has never had any updating to speak of in the kitchen. When Mike came to my house to give me a bid, he was such an upbeat, positive person. He listened to all my ideas and always made me feel like my ideas had value. When they encountered hurdles, because my house is old, they would discuss the challenge with me in full, and brainstorm ideas with me of how to still make my ideas happen-in a way that would work. It was so helpful having them there brainstorming with me, like they could see into my head at what I was dreaming of. They truly worked on this job like it was their own house and project. Mike is a positive person and super easy to talk to. I don't think Mike every had a bad day. He seems to love life, the work he does, and customers he serves. Joe and Rick both have such expertise on the job. They quite obviously have had a lot of experience because everything they worked on turned out to be quality work. After graduating I started working for several LLC's in North Carolina, whom biased their work in new construction and home remodeling.
