"We are remodeling our kitchen from the studs up and wanted an architect to design our kitchen to make sure the new appliances, cabinets, flooring, lighting, large window, workstation sink, custom hood all went with each other and fit perfectly. We were referred to YDB by our contractor. Jamaal designed our kitchen. As with any remodeling we changed our mind a few times as we worked our way to a design we liked. Jamaal was patient with us as he went thru a few iterations of re-designing and re-renderings. He is courteous, professional, knowledgeable, has good ideas, and an eye for chic. YDB fees are also reasonable. We are waiting on our contractor to start the remodeling work and will post back when the install is complete on how everything came together."

"My husband and I purchased a neglected fixer upper that required lots of TLC. We ended up re-plumbing and re-wiring the entire house so our budget for all the fun things related to home remodeling was devoured by the wires and pipes inside the walls. We took out a wall separating the kitchen and living room and were left with an important decision to make about the flooring. We considered tile, but the footprint of the eat-in kitchen was larger than the living room and we thought that would look strange. I really wanted seamless hardwood throughout but was convinced we couldn't possibly afford it. Boy was I wrong. Marvin came to our rescue! Every contractor, carpenter and inspector who has come through our house comments on the floors and how seamless they look. The team feathered in the new wood with the old wood, sanded, stained, and oiled our first floor. They also repaired a warped section of flooring in a second floor bedroom that had been water damaged and sanded, stained and oiled in there. We were able to save a little bit of money by ripping up the old linoleum kitchen floor ourselves, but Marvin's pricing is unbelievably fair and reasonable. If you don't think you can afford quality hardwood floors, call Marvin! Calvary Flooring does amazing work that impresses other craftsmen. They're fast, professional, neat and they don't sacrifice quality for an affordable price. We'll be refinishing the second floor of our house soon and will be calling Marvin and his team."

"A little late here. Bruno made a purchase from my business and I helped him with the install. I was impressed with him as a person and hired him and his crew to do some remodeling at my shop. My wife and I then decided it was finally time to do our kitchen and we now had our contractor. This was early/mid 2021 during the nightmare disruptions in supply chain. Bruno came over and completely designed the renovation of our 1940â s kitchen. He immediately got us in touch with cabinet, counter and appliance suppliers and everything came together seamlessly. The process was incredibly coordinated and organized as this was a major project, we even added a few other projects along the way without any wrinkles. The room completely gutted to the studs and expanded so it was a major project.
