"Brad Brown & team are amazing. I hired Mr. Brown for a challenging job at my 1950's home and he came thru 100%. His creativity & attention to every minute details was awesome to observe. He was quick to come out to our home, give us an estimate on the spot, kept in touch along the way as he waiting for special parts he needed to order, and showed up on time on the promised date. I would recommend Brad Brown without hesitation to friends and family. I will hire him without a doubt next time I need electrical work done."

"I had a plumbing project that was started by a company, but the cost increased significantly from the original estimate, so I stopped the work and sent them home. Some work was partially completed, and a friend will be finishing the remaining work. "

"My experience has been really very good. Angi ensured the right type of professional is referred. Vince promptly reached my place and right away began his effort to diagnose the issue and spent a couple of hours and eventually fixed the sound issues I had with my entertainment system and TV. He charged me reasonable and deserves as he has spent decades honing his skills. I would count on him next time I have an issue , if at all!"

FAQs for attic or whole house fan installation projects in Philadelphia, PA

Installing an attic fan lowers attic temperatures and reduces moisture, protecting stored items and extending the life of roofing materials. It also prevents mold, mildew, and paint deterioration, enhancing energy efficiency and comfort in the home. This type of protection helps you avoid costly repairs in the future and maintains the integrity of your home.

Installing an attic fan may require multiple professionals. A roofing specialist or carpenter can create the vent and mount the fan securely, while a licensed electrician connects the system to the home's electrical supply. A dedicated attic fan installer may be able to tackle all of these areas themselves, so be sure to confirm what services they can provide. Hiring qualified professionals ensures the installation is safe and the attic fan operates reliably.

The lifespan of an attic fan depends on the type and how well it is maintained. Passive attic fans can last 40 to 50 years, while electric and solar models typically last 10 to 15 years. Regular cleaning and maintenance help ensure the fan operates reliably and safely. Ask your installation pro for their recommendations for ongoing maintenance and service to help your attic fan last for as long as possible.
