Our pond, which had not been cleaned since we put it in about 7 years ago needed to be cleaned badly.  I found Backyard Ponds on Angie's List and contacted them to schedule a cleaning.  The first thing to know is that spring is their busy season and priority is given to customers who have regular maintenance performed.  By the time I contacted them in early/mid April, the wait list was 6 weeks.  For $100  extra, I bumped to the head of the list.  After signing the contract, the cleaners came within a few days.  Two workers arrived and they worked hard and continuously for 5 hours.  They also repotted some plants, introduced a biological medium (which I erroneously thought I already had), and offered some really good tips and insights.  They were very careful of my plantings and cleaned up well.  We are very pleased with the results and would use them again in the future.

Note that this service is not cheap.  They charge $260 for the first hour and $160 for every hour thereafter.  But it's hard, dirty work and I think it was worth every penny.  Our pond has never looked better.  My advice would be to get on the waiting list early as possible to avoid paying the extra $100 (which we gladly did).

"Larry and his crew upgraded our under cabinet lighting with new LED lighting, and specialized outlet. Not only was our home and its contents treated as if they lived here, the job was done professionally. So much so, that the only issue we had was when the switch/outlet face plate screws came loose. "Happy with pool surface...mini-pebbles with glass beads. Weekly maintenance during pool season since 2016. Paul and his team are professional, courteous, caring, hardworking and kind. Paul even came over on Labor Day weekend when our pump was not working...now that is above and beyond! Paul really cares about his clients and their satisfaction. Prices are fair and comparable. Hristo did everything possible to get the job done. This particular June 2016 was filled with many rain days and made his schedule hectic. He kept me in the loop and was up front and honest about the delay noting vinyl liners must be installed in dry, sunny weather - none of which came for a few weeks.

The job was handled quickly and professionally while his team made several visits to complete the job. During this time we got even more rain but the liner was installed by then and they finished all well within the timeframe.

I write all this because Hristo kept me informed which I appreciated and which has earned him and his team my respect and gratitude.

A job more than well done! Also, within budget :)
