"I called Seneca Painting back in June for help with the exterior painting of our home. We had originally hired painters from Craigslist, but they were doing poor quality work. With our house partially painted, we were in a pickle. Fortunately, David O'Hearn from Seneca Painting came to our rescue. We found him OL and he returned my call quickly and was even available that same day to give us an estimate at our house... even after he spent a long hot day on another job. Although he was more expensive than our CL painters, we felt his team would do a better job and, indeed, they did (you get what you pay for rings true here)! Due to our last minute timing, David was already busy with another job, but he was able to set us up with painters that help him on occasions when he's tied up. They were able to start right away. Ed and his sons, Jerry and Brian, were very prompt, courteous, flexible, and, most of all, conscientious about the quality of their work, as well as their daily clean-up. It took them about 3-1/2 days to finish painting the house exterior and we couldn't be more pleased. Ed has been painting for most of his life and, including his sons, they have more than 50 years of painting experience. "It didn't go at all. Total lack of input and service. Estimator Dave was to show up on Wednesday at 1 PM to give us an estimate on installing kitchen countertops. He texted me at 12:31 and said he was hung up on another job, and couldn't make it, but if I sent him photos of the kitchen he would send me an estimate. That was Wednesday. I sent 9 photos of a very simple installation job (we already have the countertops). Thursday, I texted him again at 12:30 and asked if he could send the estimate to my email. He never has responded to either text. I sent email to the company as a response to their office manager, she never responded. On Friday, I sent emails to company both vial gmail and via Angi messaging, no response as of Saturday at 2:30 PM. I can't call, as my business is often in a very loud enviornment and hard to talk. They literally ghosted me and haven't have the most basic level of service to even contact me to say they are too busy for new jobs, or they aren't going to make enough on this job and it's not worth their time, or any other reason. They just vanished. I would never, and have never, treated my clients this way."

Painting over it may be a viable option if it’s stuck on and will only come off in pieces. Wash the walls first and prime them with an oil- or shellac-based primer for the best results.

More complex projects involving luxurious wallpaper brands like De Gournay, Calico, and Pierre Frey result in higher installation rates due to the extra work required.
After removing wallpaper, you can dispose of small amounts in your household trash. However, suppose you are removing wallpaper from your entire home. In that case, you’ll need to contact a waste removal service, rent a dumpster, or arrange a special pick-up with your municipality’s waste service. Wallpaper cannot be recycled, so it is important to keep it separate from the recycling stream to comply with local waste guidelines.
