We had 3 other companies come over and giving us high quotes telling us to replace our 2 year old unit. Matthew Roberts came and assessed the problem correctly and fixed the issue at a reasonable price and we are extremely happy with their work. Michael and Brandon were our technicians and they were amazing. They made sure all our questions were answered and didn't leave until everything worked properly. "Ken came out originally to do some duct cleaning but noticed that a lot of our supply and returns weren’t sealed properly with mastic (he showed us the areas that needed work). He came back out and sealed all the ducts, installed an air purifier and cleaned and sanitized all the ductwork. He was polite, knowledgeable, professional and hard working. Definitely recommend his services."

"Our central air conditioner stopped working on Friday a around 5:30 pm. I called my go-to company (del-air) but they couldn’t come out until Wednesday. I tried getting recommendations from Angi, and while one provider called right away, I missed the call. I called back less than a minute later, but got their vm. No one else reached out until later on Saturday. I did a web search on Saturday morning, and got a company that was willing to come on Sunday…but when they asked if the unit was more than eight years old, and I said yes, they offered to come Saturday evening. I asked why, and they said that since I had an older unit, they didn’t want me to be without air overnight. I asked why it would make a difference...I was going to be without air no matter how old the unit was, they said “that’s just the way we do things.” My wife and I talked and decided they would probably just try to sell us a new unit (based on my research between $6000 and $11,000), so we cancelled the appointment. Later Saturday morning, I texted a friend, and she recommended serviceone. I called, and they first apologized that they wouldn’t be able to come out that day…would the next day (Sunday) be ok, between 11 & 1. I said sure, and thanked them. Their technician came an hour early, was incredibly nice, diagnosed the problem, replaced the breaker and the capacitor, told me the capacitor he installed wasn’t optimum, so was going to come out on Monday to put in a better one, at no extra charge, charged me less than six hundred dollars, and had everything done in 20 minutes. I have no way of knowing if the price he charged was fair, but other than that, this was a perfect experience, and I am grateful."

"I called back on Monday, Donnie came out that afternoon and the price was great, he was professional and pleasant. The installers came Tuesday. A friend was at the house as I had to work and he kept calling me with things to ask Donnie. Donnie never sounded irritated and always said you are the customer and we want you to be happy. The issue required the technician to come back after he left Tuesday and he was pleasant as well even though it was already late. This technician couldn't identify why the unit was registering the correct numbers (my friend identified this issue, I would never had know, they left and all seemed fine). The technician was coming back Wednesday morning ( I had to take a day off of work) but Donnie first had another technician come to the house that evening. They found the copper pipes or whatever goes under the house was the problem and they needed to install new pipes through the attic. They never showed any disrespect or tone that wasn't professional and made me feel like the customer did come first. It took a lot of time and someone else to keep pushing the issue (my friend did A/Cs in Texas so he knew things luckily). When they say it isn't really the A/C that fails it is the installation, this could have been one of those. Thanks Service Star for great service. Luckily it isn't hot out but I can't really test the system but we will!"

"Would give 6 stars if I could! Tim was very helpful in finding an AC unit that would work best for my apartment while saving me money, which I greatly appreciate. Tim did not try to sell me a more expensive unit and was straightforward when I asked him about different sizes and efficiency ratings, helping me get the best deal while also having an AC unit that runs perfectly. As a full time college student, having to replace my AC is a huge financial burden, and Tim’s prices and service far exceeded that of bigger companies in the area who I also called for a quote, i.e. ARS & Frank Gay. Tim & AJ explained everything being done in a way that made sense, and worked around my complicated schedule. They also took extra time and effort to figure out a way to install the compressor on the roof of my building without having to rent a crane, which saved me a considerable amount of money for this job. The new unit works even better than the last one ever did, and the job was completed quickly. I greatly appreciate their friendliness, flexibility and excellent service and will be using RAIR’s services again in the future. "We needed to have our A/C repaired in order to sell our house. We had called Frank Gay the day before and they wanted to replace the coils and made it seem like there was NO way we could just clean it and fix the problem. They wanted $2800 to fix it. So i called Advanced and they came out and fixed the issue without a super costly replacement.
