"Many thanks to Eric Payne for his professional service. Eric wasted no time in getting to my house after the hurricane to check out the damage. Once the new roof was installed, Eric called and even came by to see if everything was ok. Then recently my son’s house needed a new roof really quick. Eric went over the same day my son called and helped him with the process, gave a quote and within a week or so, my son had a new roof. Thank you Eric for your prompt service before and after the sale!"

"We needed some help on making some repairs on our 120 year old homestead house. Due to the age and historical interest of the house we are very careful (over protective) who we hired to work on the house. Lamont did a great job. He really understood what we wanted done. He also understood what could and what should not be done. The best reference we can give him is the fact we will be hiring him again and have recommended him to our friends. Finding a good handyman is hard, so glad we found Lamont."

"Larry's tasks were: Modify my doggy door for my small dog. He also had to remove an attic fan in the gable end and replace it with one that was more efficient. It turned into a larger project than it sounds. He had to cut a larger opening through the side of the house and also install a cover vent with one that was custom made. Larry went and picked up all the materials, fan and had to find someone to make a custom vent. He did everything to perfection and cleaned up after it was finished. You never would have known he was there. Thanks, Larry-again !!"

FAQs for attic or whole house fan installation projects in Pinellas Park, FL

Installing an attic fan lowers attic temperatures and reduces moisture, protecting stored items and extending the life of roofing materials. It also prevents mold, mildew, and paint deterioration, enhancing energy efficiency and comfort in the home. This type of protection helps you avoid costly repairs in the future and maintains the integrity of your home.

Installing an attic fan may require multiple professionals. A roofing specialist or carpenter can create the vent and mount the fan securely, while a licensed electrician connects the system to the home's electrical supply. A dedicated attic fan installer may be able to tackle all of these areas themselves, so be sure to confirm what services they can provide. Hiring qualified professionals ensures the installation is safe and the attic fan operates reliably.

The lifespan of an attic fan depends on the type and how well it is maintained. Passive attic fans can last 40 to 50 years, while electric and solar models typically last 10 to 15 years. Regular cleaning and maintenance help ensure the fan operates reliably and safely. Ask your installation pro for their recommendations for ongoing maintenance and service to help your attic fan last for as long as possible.
