"I originally called them to clear my sewer line. I had initially called Roto Rooter and I was displeased with them so I called Bryco. Bryco seems to be very honest. They came out and tried to clean the line as much as they could and used a scope and found that there was a break in the line under my foundation. They figured out where exactly where the break was and advised me to check if I had insurance. They gave me an estimate and explained what they needed to do. I gave the ok and they started the work. They've been very professional and have kept me informed of the progress. They have been considerate in informing us ahead of time when there would be no water available. So far everything seems to be going alright. It is a big project, inspectors needed to be called and is estimated that it will take about 3 weeks (any day now). They've done all the trenching, installed a sewer line clean out for me at my request, which I really appreciated. So far, I am very pleased with their service."

"The experience was amazing, from start to finish. I had two vendors come out and give me an estimate for the 30 foot plumbing from the wall, to the middle of my deck where I am housing my new Weber grill. The first plumbing company quoted me, Will's All Pro Plumbing, $3600 -$4600, using composite pipe to do the job. I told the plumber I thought this was at least 5x's my expectation on cost. Fortunately, I called Capps and had a wonderful customer service person (the owner's wife), that professionally managed the two visits her husband made to my house. First to make the estimate and second to the work. After he came out and called me with the estimate, I was nearly passed out, it was 1/8th the cost of the prior estimate at $600. Furthermore, it was using steel pipe, and not the cheaper composite piping. I didn't even let them finish reading out the cost estimate, I asked them to come out and get it started asap! The work was then done, the following day, and the plumber went the extra mile and even setup my grill! I'm a discerning customer, and the work was done fantastically."

"I would definitely recommend T.R. Plumbing! Terry did an excellent job! He was honest, reliable and reasonably priced. I had a leak in the slab of my house. I called Aramendia for their "free" quote as advertised on tv. As soon as the tech got here he tried to sell me a water softner and whole house filter. He said it would be $175 per hour to find the leak. They cut the leaking pipe and ran a tape down it to guess where the pipe went. They wanted $350 to remove a toilet to see if their guess was right. Then started talking about removing dishwasher and pulling out kitchen cabinets. The price kept going up and up. I asked them to leave and started looking for another plumber. Terry came out the next afternoon. He had a sonar system to see exactly where the pipes ran through the concrete floor. He offered several different solutions to fix the problem. We agreed running a new insulated line through the attic was the best way to go. He did not need to remove any cabinets or major appliances. He completed the job that day. Water is restored to the house and everything is back to normal. I would definitely call Terry again for any future plumbing needs. Thank you T.R. Plumbing! You saved the day!"

FAQs for gas piping projects in Pipe Creek, TX

Plumbers with proper licensing and credentials install and relocate gas lines. When hiring a professional, verify they have experience with gas systems and all required certifications. Some homeowners choose to work with plumbers specializing in natural gas installations, as they have extensive experience with similar projects and understand the safety requirements.

The timeline for gas line relocation varies based on project complexity, permit processing, and inspection scheduling. The physical labor takes a few hours to one day, depending on the line length. However, the actual installation work represents only part of the overall project timeline. Your contractor should provide a specific timeframe based on your circumstances and local permitting requirements.

Your gas supply must be shut off during the relocation process. This safety measure prevents gas leaks while connections are being modified. Plan for this temporary service interruption by making alternative arrangements for cooking, heating, or other gas-dependent systems in your home. The shut-off generally only lasts for a portion of the work, often a few hours.

Relocating gas lines to connect new appliances is a common reason for this type of project. Whether you're installing a gas stove, fireplace, dryer, or outdoor grill, a professional can determine the best route for extending your existing gas system. The cost will depend on the distance between your current gas line and the new appliance location.

Gas line work is not suitable for DIY projects. Natural gas is highly flammable and potentially lethal if not handled correctly. Gas leaks can be difficult to detect without specialized equipment. Professional plumbers have the proper training, tools, and experience to safely relocate gas lines while ensuring compliance with local building codes and safety standards.
