On the installation day, the three-man crew led by Bryan, the Crew Leader, arrived promptly at the appointment time. Bryan communicated effortlessly in perfect English with us, and in Spanish with Byron and the rest of the crew. He remeasured everything and verified each window's size. Unfortunately, one window had incorrect dimensions due to a manufacturing error. Nevertheless, the team proceeded efficiently and meticulously, removing the old louvers and installing the replacements within four hours. Bryan assured us that the correct-sized window would be expedited from the manufacturer. The job site was left clean and tidy both inside and outside. Today, on March 19, Peter, the Job Foreman, installed the remaining window, completing the task in less than an hour. We are extremely satisfied with the fantastic customer service, the excellent quality of the product and the workmanship and the overall dedication to customer satisfaction provided by the entire staff at Smart Window Company. "This is a review of only the process of getting an estimate. Newman was the third company to bid on my job so I had some idea of what this job should cost (ca. $1800). The guy from Newman quoted me $2500. When I asked about what I was getting for the additional $700, I was told a string of outright lies. (1) We have a better reputation than our competition. In fact, one of the others were better rated on Angies List. (2) Our product line (Milgard) was much superior to the competition. In fact, the competition (Swinton) was better rated by Consumer Reports. (3) Our warranty is better than the competition. In fact, the competition has a double life-time warranty that even covers accidental breakage. The estimator became belligerent and defensive and left abruptly. Very, very unprofessional."

"Ace Construction (Tony) provided an estimate that was reasonable, upfront and included a time frame for completion. Payments were made as the project progressed through each phase. As with any project communication between homeowner and business is vital and Tony was superb throughout the entire project. Tony has a keen eye when it came to vision and style, he provided excellent input and made great suggestions. We are very pleased with the work done by Ace Construction, Tony transformed our outdated kitchen, bathrooms and fireplace to the most current style. "Easy communication. I needed a bathroom exhaust fan installed where there is no attic access. The project included wiring and ductwork to the exterior as well as drywall removal and repair, and then finishing everything beautifully. The two-man team of Vasquez did as instructed and also fixed some old shoddy work that was in the way of the new duct and wiring. They used good materials and did good work at a good price. They were also very respectful of my home, keeping the mess contained and cleaning up after. I would hire again."
