At PG Plumbing we have a simple yet powerful reason for starting our plumbing company: to bring a breath of fresh air to the plumbing industry in Fort Wayne and Allen County.\n\nWith the rise of large corporate plumbing conglomerates, we noticed the disappearance of the small, locally-owned plumbing businesses that once thrived in our community. This inspired us to step in and make a difference.\n\nOur mission is clear: we are here to provide our customers with cost-effective, personal experiences rather than prioritizing profit margins. We understand the frustration that often comes with plumbing issues, and our goal is to alleviate that stress with a service you can trust.\n\nWe invite you to choose PG Plumbing a local, employee-owned, reliable, and trustworthy team, for all your plumbing needs. Your satisfaction is our priority, and we are committed to providing you with the best service possible. Thank you for considering us as your plumbing partner in Fort Wayne.

"No problems with the quality of the work or the time it took, but it was surprisingly expensive. So much so that I almost regretted having the work done. The plumber found the shut-off valves inoperable and began replacing them without telling me about it or the additional cost. I should have looked over his shoulder more often and asked more questions, but I did not. Any repairman beginning additional repairs without asking really rubs me the wrong way and leads to a "B" rating at best and a "No" on hiring again. Learn from my mistake: make certain that you do your research on pricing and agree on a price range and scope of work with Geiler (or anyone, for that matter) before they begin the work."

"This was the first time we used them.  A prior company incorrectly installed the water heater.  We called Gibson, they came out and were able to correct the mistakes.  We haven't had any issues with the water heater in the roughly 8 years since."

"I have used John and John three times now and have been very pleased with every aspect of each visit. They were on time, were friendly, courteous and knowledgeable, and worked very hard to fix the problems.  In addition, they cleaned up after the work.  I appreciated how they answered questions I had.  I also appreciate their not spending any time telling me how horrible our plumbing is and trying to sell us things! <br /> It's hard for me to rate any plumbing charge "excellent" - so I gave them a "good."   However, I think their prices are quite reasonable in comparison to others. <br /> I will definitely call on them again for any future plumbing problems."

"KORTE team did an awesome job replacing our furnace! Jerry Y., provided a timely quote and explained the various options available and then coordinated installation. Greg B., and Ryan O., were the installers and did a very professional and efficient installation. Very organized, polite, efficient and at the end cleaned-up the space and explained the operation to my wife and me. Outstanding service!"

"As stated above, everything went well.  Both Kyle and Andy worked hard for 6 hours or so to install the tankless water heater.  It was a tight place to put it in and they attached plywood to the garage wall in order to hang the water heater.  It takes much less space and looks good.  There was a lot of work they both figured out due to other pipes and a furnace being in that space as well as a water softener. So it was a lot of work for them. They were in a good mood the entire time when I went out to speak to them. <br /> Simple to adjust the temperature, which they showed me.  Andy cleaned my garage nicely after all their carpentry work, and I was pleased.  They were both so very personable and I felt comfortable having them here.  They did their job well and worked hard to make the needed adjustments to my garage space, and I'm very happy I made this choice.  And Kyle even offered to test my water softener water to be sure it is working properly.  I'm waiting for the results, but that was a nice gesture.  I never need to wonder who I'll call for my furnace, air conditioner, etc.  I always use Rolf Griffiin."

"When i picked up my vehicle, 2011 Chev HHR, I was surprised that my care required a synthetic oil and that this was much more expensive than a regula oil change.  Brian explained that the manufacturer would void the warranty if synthetic wasn't used.  I am thankful he caught this, as other oil change locations (including a Chevrolet Dealer) did not use synthitic oil. <br />"

FAQs for gas piping projects in Pleasant Lake, IN

Plumbers with proper licensing and credentials install and relocate gas lines. When hiring a professional, verify they have experience with gas systems and all required certifications. Some homeowners choose to work with plumbers specializing in natural gas installations, as they have extensive experience with similar projects and understand the safety requirements.

The timeline for gas line relocation varies based on project complexity, permit processing, and inspection scheduling. The physical labor takes a few hours to one day, depending on the line length. However, the actual installation work represents only part of the overall project timeline. Your contractor should provide a specific timeframe based on your circumstances and local permitting requirements.

Your gas supply must be shut off during the relocation process. This safety measure prevents gas leaks while connections are being modified. Plan for this temporary service interruption by making alternative arrangements for cooking, heating, or other gas-dependent systems in your home. The shut-off generally only lasts for a portion of the work, often a few hours.

Relocating gas lines to connect new appliances is a common reason for this type of project. Whether you're installing a gas stove, fireplace, dryer, or outdoor grill, a professional can determine the best route for extending your existing gas system. The cost will depend on the distance between your current gas line and the new appliance location.

Gas line work is not suitable for DIY projects. Natural gas is highly flammable and potentially lethal if not handled correctly. Gas leaks can be difficult to detect without specialized equipment. Professional plumbers have the proper training, tools, and experience to safely relocate gas lines while ensuring compliance with local building codes and safety standards.
