Small jobs welcome
"I was extremely happy because I had no idea how my issue could be fixed. There was a portion of my house that was holding water, and he was able to repair my threshold. I was very pleased, he really knows his stuff!"

"I can only say great things about JA Drywall. We had quite a complicated chimney repair. From the beginning of the process, this company stood out from all the others. Most companies did not return my calls. One did respond but never showed up to start work. The JA Drywall owner came to our initial appointment on time, evaluated the job and gave us a reasonable and fair estimate. The work crew then came on time and worked really hard for two days to repair the chimney. At each stage they kept us informed of progress. They did a wonderful job, kept the site clean and tidied up once job completed. On top of their excellent work, they are a team of friendly and courteous workers, who also took care of a few other things that needed attention. I would recommend this company to all who are looking for quality work by a friendly team at a reasonable price."

"John and Nick were very responsive to requests and were always punctual and worked 6 days a week for months to finish our job. They came back multiple times to finish “punch list” items including caulking, trim, and paint touch ups. Sometimes I had to be involved in problem solving some of the hiccups that arose but often John and Nick also came with solutions to problems. Sometimes John and Nick informed us after the fact that something we asked them to do was “extra” so I would recommend establishing early and clearly to have change orders or confirmations of changes that cost extra, but even still for the work they did they completed and the quality we think the price was reasonable and fair.
Now we are in our beautiful new home and are so so happy with what we have gotten thanks to John and Nick at JJ Construction- we couldn’t be happier and would recommend them for any job.

"We were very satisfied with the work performed. The owner was a great communicator and kept us up to speed with progress reports and work schedules. The crew was professional and always cleaned up before leaving for the day. There were no "surprises" or inflated costs. We would trust them to work for us again, without any reservations, and happily recommended them to our friends and family."

"EXCELLENT WORK and VERY PROFESSIONAL. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. We scheduled three brick masons (all from Angie?s List) to give us a quote on re-pointing the front of our house (three stories tall and about 15 feet wide). One of the brick masons said he no longer worked in Philadelphia because of union issues. Dennis from Philadelphia Brick & Stone replied immediately and said he would meet us to give us a quote. We went back and forth to set up a date/time for the initial meeting and a day before the meeting, he confirmed with us. He was very prompt, friendly, and candid about what was needed. He explained where there needed to be repairs, and where we did not need repairs. We very much appreciated that he did not try to sell us on re-pointing the entire front of the house. He sent us a quote soon after the meeting, which we accepted because it was reasonable, and then we scheduled the actual work about a week later. On the day of the actual job, he showed up on time, with another mason (Romey? Not sure about the spelling.), and they both prepared the area (e.g., putting down canvas). They started work immediately, about 11 am, and didn?t finish until 6:00 pm, but they were working non-stop during that time. Both Dennis and Romey were friendly, cheerful, professional, and attentive to the details of the job. For example, I noticed that they had cloth wrapped around the top of the ladder, to ensure it did not scratch the brick. In another example, at one point, Dennis had to leave to buy more caulking (I think that was what he called it) because he ran out of the proper color and wanted to be sure that the color matched exactly. They did the job properly, first removing the old cement and calking, and then replacing the cement and caulking. At the end of the job, rather than just quickly leaving, Dennis spent some time doing cosmetic touch-ups. They cleaned the area when they were done ? sweeping, removing all the detritus -- and actually left the area cleaner than it had been to start with. I would highly recommend this company to anyone who needs brick work done. (In fact, a neighbor who lived down the street was watching the work. He came over and asked for a quote because the work was so well done.)

"Reed had done work for us years ago and we were remembered! That means a ton to us. We were thrilled with the work back then too. From start to finish, the job was fantastic. Pricing, professionalism, personality, product and timeline all worked beautifully for our job. We have great faith in their work and quality of their product and will highly recommend Reed Kilroy Construction! And this comes from a carpenter's daughter!"

"They rearranged furniture, helped design, and took care of everything that needed to be done. Also they came ready to work. It was a good experience."
