The company was incorporated in 1986 by Dominick and Cynthia Mupo and sons, Michael and Louis. Almost all the construction activities are performed and coordinated by our full time staff. The company's original area of specialization, Custom Baths and Kitchens, have expanded over the years to include medium to large home renovations. "I was referred to Chelsea Home Remodeling by the owner of Marcor Roofing who previously did an excellent job on my roofing project. I was looking for a reliable contracting company to do a major interior renovation project including a full gut out demolition and rebuild of an existing extension that I knew required extensive corrections and repair. Chelsea is a family owned and operated business and they were exceptional right from the start. Dominick Mupo and his son Louis came to perform the initial inspection and to discuss my project. Dominick provided a very detailed estimate in writing, which he reviewed with me line by line in person with full transparency. They may not be the least expensive but I got what I paid for; they did a superior job from big to fine details from start to finish. Working with Dominick, Louis, Michael, Manny and Carlos was an absolute pleasure. They kept to the timeline, showed up as planned and on time, were pleasant and cooperative, cleaned up at the end of each and every day, respectfully cared for my home and property and were ever patient with my many questions and concerns every step of the way. They were consistently open to discussion regarding the problems found from the original construction, and with my participation in the process. A new aluminum attic staircase was installed, a section of garage ceiling was sheetrocked & the entire ceiling was painted, a new very quiet garage door opener was installed, a new AC return vent was installed on the basement wall, Silicone was installed to the bathroom shower ledge. This is the 2nd time using JBL. The first time using JBL the job also came out fantastic. If needed we will use JBL again."
