"I hired WN Painting to handle the rehab of my foyer area and living room earlier this year. The good: I had no problems reaching him and when he wasn’t available he always returned my calls promptly. He was very friendly and easy to talk to. He price was affordable in comparison to the other quotes I received for the same job. I had no complaints with the tile work completed in the foyer area. The bad: The gentleman I dealt with was not the one actually performing the work. He was more of a supervisor than a contractor. There were two different people performing the work-one for the tile and another for the drywall, trim and paint and their skill level varied greatly. The ugly: Many aspects of the job were rushed and it really showed in the quality of the work. My major complaints are: • You can see the seams/tape where the new dry wall was installed. • The room was not taped off for painting so the lines were not clean at all. I initially complained about this and he came back to make corrections but even after a second visit it was not up to par. The trim was painted after installation so there was trim paint on the walls and wall paint on the trim. • The stringer was not sanded/primed properly so you can see all of the flaws & the trim does not line up evenly They have many A ratings so I am unsure if he just used a subpar worker for the drywall/painting/trim work for my house. Whatever the case may be, the longer I looked at the rooms the more issues I found. It was really disappointing because I had intentions on hiring him for more work around the house."
