"This is a yearly contract.  For $179 Interstate comes out twice a year and does a summer and winter check and maintenance of our heat/AC system.  They have very polite, professional and competent service people.  We had a problem with the heating system winter before last and the service person came out at night to fix it.  Our system is well past its expected "shelf life," and they have given us an estimate on a new system, but have not pressured us.  In fact, the last service person suggested we place a carbon monoxide detector inside the heat/AC closet (we have one in the house) to detect any early problems.
