"We needed privacy film installed on side lights and transom around our front door. We were looking for a more cost effective alternative than replacing glass. Bob responded quickly and suggested the perfect film for privacy, light transmission and appearance. Mike did an excellent job on the installation. On the appointment day, he called to say he was running ahead of schedule and if it was okay to arrive early. It actually worked out better for me. He worked professionally and answered my questions along the way. The film was perfectly cut for the 15 pieces of glass that made up the lights and transom. It was done so well that it looks like textured glass. We are extremely satisfied especially since it’s the entrance to our home."

He called back fortuitously on the last warm weekend of fall 2016. We had negotiated initial price, but turned out we wanted more work than original spec. Turned out we got everything we wanted and they had excellent recommendation to paint gutter and fix rotted out wood on porch and window sills. It was paint and repair throughout and they did a thorough job. They got custom color that we wanted, repaired porch, scraped old paint from sills and replaced rotted wood framing for side door to garage. They did excellent job in scraping and painting our patio french doors which had water damage - made them look new. Neighbors remarked what a good job they did...it made the house look like new. Sam had great follow-up and so glad he persisted in calling us back up. His crew are expert in painting and repair. Definitely would hire them to do other jobs again."

"I've worked with Ted at Rent-A-Pro Handyman Services a handful of times now, and I’ve been pleased with my experiences. Most recently, they came out at short notice, within a day or two, to find the cause of a leak showing up on the basement ceiling. They found and fixed that leak but a couple days later, ANOTHER unrelated leak showed up in a different spot. Ted got someone out the same day (this was right around the holidays mind you) who found and fixed the 2nd leak. Depending upon how you look at it, I was fortunate for both of these leaks to happen so close in time because they were able to do all the drywall repair at once. One of the drywall repairs didn't dry smoothly, but when I let Ted know, he promptly had someone out to fix it. Rent-A-Pro may not be the cheapest in town but they do quality work, they're responsive, prompt, and appreciative of repeat customers."

"I had reached out to them through the messages function on Angies List asking if they did door repairs as well as installations. I had been very frustrated because I had contacted a number of providers and they essentially blew me off without asking when they figured out I didn't want an $8,000 whole new entry system.
Well, within 24hrs I had an email from Michael asking me to call the office for more details. I called and left a message and he got back to me the next day. I explained at length about the door frame issues we were having and how I was hoping to salvage the doors I had. He listened thoroughly to what I had to say and then explained to me why they couldn't do repairs (security doors have a whole built in system, they can't guarantee the work so they don't do it anymore). When I tentatively said that I guess I would have to get a new door he asked some follow-up questions and then gave me a few possible solutions. He said that they may hold a year, or forever, but it would at least be more expensive then an entire new door that we didn't need.
I was so impressed that he took the time to listen, gave me some really useful ideas I could do on my own and didn't push for any other services. He may not have gotten a sale from me this time, but I definitely know who to call next time! I always appreciate not being treated as "not worth it" just because I don't have a full remodel job I am looking to do."
