"I needed a ceiling fan installed and several other companies would not give me a price over the phone but instead said they would charge a fee (anywhere from $28 to $35) to come out and see how much work was involved. If you say you need a ceiling fan installed in a bedroom and they'd have to pull it down from the attic, I think any reputable company should at least be able to quote an approximate price over the phone. When I called Rick Thompson Electric he told me exactly what it would cost ($250) and that's exactly what I paid.
Everything was excellent from initial communication to end of the job. They let me know when the guys were on their way, they showed up on time, and it only took approximately one hour to complete the job. They were very thorough in their work and also cleaned up the drywall before they left. Very professional from start to finish -- I highly recommend this company and would hire them again in a heartbeat!

"The Core tech was courteous and professional and arrived promptly at the appointed time. His estimate was quick, clear and competitive. However, another contractor quoting on the job asked about the make and model of the bidet for which the receptacle was being installed and, while standing there, downloaded technical specs for that model. This act of due diligence identified an important concern: the bidet manufacturer (Toto) recommended installing the unit on an independent circuit. I confirmed this independently and did more research on-line. This research further indicated that a new individual circuit was most appropriate for this application in an older house such as mine. While Core was responsive, the more diligent and experienced approach caused me to select the other contractor. I'd still readily consider Core for future projects."

"Rorer's home improvement painted two interior rooms and repaired some damaged wood on the outside of my house. They were very reasonably priced. They did a good job on the painting inside and the outside wood repair/paint match on a garage door. The only issue I had was that they did not match up the rubber trim around the garage door and left a gap in it. I would use them again for standard jobs because overall, the price was very good and everything else was fine."

"My family was relocating to a nicer house closer to downtown annapolis. We had already moved a majority of the smaller items ourselves. We were relying on the movers to handle bigger items (desks, beds, mattresses, etc).
We had prestaged the house to expedite the move and cleared out spaces in the new home.
Movers called about 30 minutes prior and indicated they were on time.
Three movers showed up in a 27ft van and all were very polite.
They were very careful to keep an eye on the time and they finished just inside the three hour window.

"I highly recommend Sunshine Contracting for the quality of their work, the high level of workmanship, and the skill and experience of their crew. My house is a 45-year-old 2-story colonial with a single car garage. The existing soffits, facia, and frieze were made of wood, and I contracted Sunshine to install over 100 feet of ventilated or solid vinyl soffit material and cap all fascia boards and frieze boards with aluminum. The required work also included the replacement of brick molding and jambs around the garage bay door with new boards and moldings made of cellular PVC, and paint to match the soffits and fascia. The cost was extremely reasonable and very competitive with cost estimates from other contractors. The crew worked to complete the job in one day. They were prompt, efficient and friendly. They did a great job and left everything clean and put back in order. The outside of our house is now essentially maintenance free. I plan to use Sunshine for future trim and window projects around the house."
