"We considered 5 different contractors for an extensive project finishing our basement.  Wantz was one of the top two contractors we considered.  Pricing was fair and his vision matched our vision.  The biggest decision point for us was that we would have to wait 45-60 days to start and that would have impacted our plans to be finished by the 2013 Holiday season.  Otherwise, there was a good chance that we would have chosen Wantz.  Instead, we went with Brothers Services and have been very happy with the results. <br />"

"Closet America helped us turn our master bedroom walk in closet from an empty room of chaos into a place with shelves & clothing racks that really make organization possible. We have a lot of clothes, shoes, accessories, etc & this closet system is exactly what we needed! Ken was the salesman that came out to our home, he was friendly, personable, and very professional. He was willing to work toward our budget & did not pressure us or make us feel rushed to make a decision at all. The installation was done all in one day & it looks beautiful. I would recommend this company to anyone who is looking for a simple, hands off experience that ends with an amazing result. I will definitely be using Closet America again in any future home that I have!!"

"Nick came out and spent over an hour of his own time figuring out the root cause of the garage light malfunction as it is on the same circuit as the installed driveway lights. The garage light burned out due to a manufacturing defect which Nick found. He removed the light, secured and sealed off the power lines and covered the box on his own time. The garage light was defective and the wires inside it had caught fire. I have ordered replacement lights which I will have Nick replace when they arrive. I have used Improvement Zone for several tasks around my home and the work is of excellent quality. I find the company easy to work with and their responsiveness to my problems has been outstanding, as demonstrated by this latest incident. I intend to keep using their services and recommending them to my friends. <br />"

"The overall job went well. The house looks brand new, and I get lots of compliments from the neighbors. Although the overall job was good, I give the company a C for quality for several reasons; there are some electrical wires still hanging from the roof or laying on the lawn from the siding job, and after only 4 months my new driveway has a crack that needs to be addressed. I have had several encounters with both Brian and Mike regarding the jobs performed at my home, they have both been responsive, but my encounter with Mike today really demonstrated excellent customer service skills and professionalism. Job well done Mike. Thank you."

"I was thrilled with the work Anthony's Remodeling did. My realtor advised in order to get top dollar for my townhouse, i needed to remodel before she would list my property. Anthony's Remodeling gave me advice and the best options to fit my budget and what items to do in order to sell my home in this market. He was very affordable. Has excellent work ethic. He worked hard to finish in time to list my home. I sold in 1 week for full ask even though the market is not great. Wow. Definitely using on my new purchased home. A+++++++++++++++ I will attach before and after pictures."

"Without a hitch. The owner Hooshang gave us an initial estimate from a photo then came and gave us a detailed quote. Agreed on a start date and job time. Both done as planned. He and his helper are professional, neat and courteous. Price was in line with other quotes. The workmanship is excellent. You will need to have any drywall repair and staining done by another contractor as Hooshang is the stairmaster."

"The job went flawlessly. I am not an expert in home repairs. The sales rep, Rob, guided us through the whole process. I was a little skeptical, only because I am skeptical of all sales people. He has earned my trust. As for the quality of work, it was done right the first time. The windows and doors open and close smoothly. I did find it odd that 2 doors and screen doors cost almost $5,000 with labor for installation, but we definitely got what we paid for. Overall, Job Well Done!!!"

FAQs for major home repair (general contractor) projects in Queen Anne, MD

In many cases, it’s much less expensive to convert a bus than to buy an RV, especially if you’re considering a newer RV model, which can exceed $100,000.

Another huge benefit of school bus conversion is that you are in control of the renovation project. You get to pick your camper's new layout and all the appliances and furniture.

While school buses can easily cost $300,000 when they're new, you can often find used buses for just a few thousand dollars. These vehicles experience extreme depreciation due to government regulations; they can only be used for so long before they must be replaced. Due to those same regulations, other government agencies cannot purchase them for their own uses, so the consumer market is the only place they can go.

The length of time it takes to convert a bus depends on the scope of the project (and size of the bus), how much work is DIY vs. done by a professional contractor, and how much work you’re doing up front.

In general, expect at least a couple of months for a conversion, but larger conversions could take six months to a year. Remember: You can tackle projects as you go: Get the basic work done so that it’s livable, and then continue to enhance your living space over time.
