"Our old unit had been giving us problems for the past four years. Jason and Kyle inspected the unit and suggested replacement due to a number of issues they found. The unit was difficult to get at as it was installed in our crawl space and took some time to remove the old unit. They did a great job as they replaced the old gas line which was too small and installed a new pressure regulator as we were experiencing a drop in water pressure if more than one faucet was open. Now have great water pressure and hotter constant water flow."

"No one answers the phone or returns calls or emails. 2 days. We have a unit u Der warranty with Freedom. Keeps breaking. Unit just a xouple of years old. Have to beg them to come fix it 2 years in a row now. They are the absolute worst company."
Heat pump systems are a great all-around investment because they perform double-duty, not only heating your home but cooling it as well.
Whatever your needs, rest assured the experts at Freedom will work with you to determine the best type of furnace for your home.
Regardless of the name, split air systems do not split air. Rather, a split air system is a single air conditioning unit comprised of two pieces of equipment.

"Good customer service from the Neighborhood Plumber home office; friendly and warm. They provided a quote over the phone that was roughly mid-way between the other two quotes I received. I chose them because they are local to Alabaster/Pelham and I prefer to support local, family owned businesses when I can and for their quick scheduling. I called right when they opened for business and was able to get scheduled for service. The two-man team arrived within the 1.5 hrs time window they provided, sized up the job quickly and went to work. One started removing the old water heater while the other one got busy prepping the new water heater for install. The senior of the two was knowledgeable and approachable. No smoking or dipping during the job; clean pipe fitting joints; not messy during install; tidy clean up. The job was completed quicker than I expected. As of this review, we are four days past the install and there have been no problems. I would consider them for future work."

FAQs for gas piping projects in Quinton, AL

Plumbers with proper licensing and credentials install and relocate gas lines. When hiring a professional, verify they have experience with gas systems and all required certifications. Some homeowners choose to work with plumbers specializing in natural gas installations, as they have extensive experience with similar projects and understand the safety requirements.

The timeline for gas line relocation varies based on project complexity, permit processing, and inspection scheduling. The physical labor takes a few hours to one day, depending on the line length. However, the actual installation work represents only part of the overall project timeline. Your contractor should provide a specific timeframe based on your circumstances and local permitting requirements.

Your gas supply must be shut off during the relocation process. This safety measure prevents gas leaks while connections are being modified. Plan for this temporary service interruption by making alternative arrangements for cooking, heating, or other gas-dependent systems in your home. The shut-off generally only lasts for a portion of the work, often a few hours.

Relocating gas lines to connect new appliances is a common reason for this type of project. Whether you're installing a gas stove, fireplace, dryer, or outdoor grill, a professional can determine the best route for extending your existing gas system. The cost will depend on the distance between your current gas line and the new appliance location.

Gas line work is not suitable for DIY projects. Natural gas is highly flammable and potentially lethal if not handled correctly. Gas leaks can be difficult to detect without specialized equipment. Professional plumbers have the proper training, tools, and experience to safely relocate gas lines while ensuring compliance with local building codes and safety standards.
