"Prior to project, he swung in and reviewed project, and was able to give an estimate before leaving. Afterwards was easy to work with on scheduling. Day of project, he worked non-stop until completion. Once completed he cleaned up any and all debris. Another thing i liked was that he communicated with me any questions or when he did leave to dump, or pickup additional materials he gave estimate of return. Very happy with job. "

"David and his crew did an outstanding job.  The fence is great.  He used top quality materials that will last for years.  He was very pleasant and professional.  Completed the project in a very timely manner.  My wife and I were impressed with the cleanup - nothing to pick up after they left. <br /> One of the adjacent landowners had concerns about his sprinkler heads and wanted to make sure they did not get damaged.  David made sure to talk to them throughout the project and make sure their concerns were addressed.  I really appreciated that. <br /> David is at the top of my referal list for any of my friends needing his type of services.  You can't go wrong with David. <br />"

"<p>Just wanted to drop a line or two and let you all know how impressed we were with both your workmen and their work.  In today's society, you just don't find companies that really do a great job, they usually just do enough to "get by".<br /> <br /><br /> <br />At times, without their knowledge, I was home and could hear some of the men talking.  Much to my surprise, their language and subject matter were always appropriate.  Don't find that much in the labor force today!  It spoke volumes to me.  When they did speak with us, they were always very kind and informative.<br /> <br /></p> <p>The work that was performed consisted of excavating the dirt to gain access to the footings on both sides of the foundation.  On the inside, they had to bust out the concrete floor and hand dig to the footing in order to install their brackets for the "unified lift system".  After installing the brackets, they attached special hydraulic equipment to the brackets which drove 3" diameter<br /> <br />pipes down to bedrock.  Next, they attached a hydraulic jacking system to each pier location.  Using their special vehicle with a unique hydraulic pumping system they attached hydraulic lines to each location and were able to do a controlled lift.  From what we understand, your company is one of the only ones that can perform this "unified lift".<br /> <br /> <br /> <br />We were taking pictures daily and emailing them out to family and friends who could not believe their eyes!  They started out making our basement look like a bomb went off and when they were done it was swept and looking very nice!<br /> <br /><br /> <br />All this to say that the work done was absolutely astonishing!  We will highly recommend EHM to everyone that we hear may need this type of work completed.<br /> <br /><br /> <br />Thanks so much again.  We were dreading having this work completed, but you all made it so much nicer by your<br /> <br />expertise, kindness, and professionalism.</p> <p>Mike and Cheryl <br /> <br /></p> <br />"

"..Pendos came to our Home and looked over everything that we desired them to do for us and we also gave them a drawing with notes on it. Not to long afterwards I called them (plus we received an email) about the price of their bid. The bid was very reasonable and within the amount of money we had planned on spending. Plus I was told in advance that they do their very best to keep from going a small percentage over due to changing prices from the time of the bid and the time of starting. We did have a number of months before we had planned on them starting the project. They finished on time and we are very pleased. We were pleased with the sundeck that they had rebuilt for us last summer, all included, and theirs was the only bid we looked for this year. The head of construction is very knowledgeable and knows what he is doing - a kind and professonable man. Another reason we choose Pendos. The painting in the room is fine. <br />"

FAQs for brick or stone siding: install or completely replace projects in Rapid City, SD

Brick siding offers numerous advantages, including high durability and resistance to harsh weather conditions, requiring minimal maintenance and lasting for generations. It provides natural insulation, enhancing energy efficiency by regulating indoor temperatures year-round. Brick is fire-resistant, improving home safety, and reduces external noise for a quieter indoor environment. Its timeless aesthetic appeal boosts curb appeal and can increase your home's resale value.

Yes, you can add brick to an existing house. One option is to remove the current siding and install full brick masonry, which involves laying traditional bricks with mortar for a solid brick exterior. Alternatively, you can opt for brick veneer siding, a thinner layer of real or manufactured brick applied over the existing structure. Brick veneer is typically more affordable and easier to install while still providing the aesthetic benefits of brick. Both methods can enhance your home's appearance and value.

Yes, installing brick siding often provides a significant return on investment. With an average ROI of around 77%, and some returns exceeding 80%, brick siding enhances curb appeal, energy efficiency, and longevity, making your home more attractive to potential buyers and potentially increasing resale value.

Brick siding is known for its exceptional longevity, often lasting over 100 years when properly maintained. Regular maintenance, like repointing mortar joints, ensures its durability over time. Brick veneer, while thinner than full brick masonry, is durable and can last up to 50 years or more with proper care. Both options offer long-lasting protection and value for your home.

When choosing brick siding, consider your budget, as costs can vary depending on brick type and installation method. Also, consider your desired aesthetic; different bricks offer various colors, textures, and styles to complement your home's architecture. Installation time and complexity are factors, with options like brick veneer being quicker and less labor-intensive than full brick masonry. Additionally, assess the maintenance requirements and durability to select the best option for your long-term needs.

Alternatives to brick siding include vinyl siding, which is cost-effective and low-maintenance and offers a variety of colors and styles. Wood siding provides a natural, classic look but requires more upkeep to prevent weather damage. Fiber cement siding is durable and can mimic the appearance of wood or masonry without the high maintenance. Each alternative has its own advantages, so consider factors like budget, aesthetics, and maintenance when making your choice.
