It allowed me to save on roofing and foundation, but created certain logistical difficulties in the project. Mike and his crew have creatively addressed all the issues which allowed me to maximize the living area while still being compliant with all the building codes. Work on the project was well planned and performed according to the schedule. In fact it took longer to wait for building permit from the county than the project itself. I also wanted to point out that Mike possesses a rare quality for contractor, he is very punctual and responsive. He had returned all my calls/e-mails within a day and had addressed all my concerns or requests in a timely manner. It was a pleasure to work with Mike and his crew and I would hire them for my next project without hesitation."

"Work went well. The quote was done by text, based on pictures I sent. The workers showed up this morning (Saturday) and got to work. They had to run out to get some insulation but were back quickly and repaired the hole. They will return Monday to paint."

"We expected to have the advertisement honored, especially the part that stated that labor and materials were included. We received a contract about 3.5 months after we signed up for the deal for $43K, not including any materials, except cabinets. We were responsible for paying for and supplying tile, counter tops, light fixtures, back splash, door knobs and pulls. We also asked about any warranty and we were basically told these were worthless regardless of what anyone promised.

Trey is definitely honest so we appreciated that. But just have to remember if something sounds too good to be true, it probably is! I think there was a lack of communication between the service provider and Angie's list. Just recommend before signing up, confirm all details with the service provider. And be prepared to pay extra for ANY upgrades or add-ons."

"WOW! Being on a fixed income you know EVERY dollar is important to me! I'd wanted and DRASTICALLY needed a bathroom remodel for YEARS but assumed it was WAY out of my budget! Curious though, I went shopping. Most companies estimates confirmed my worries about cost, and while some were affordable they lacked in other areas - quality, customer service, warranty, etc. When I related my findings to a friend he said members of their family had work done by a company called Intelligent Home Services and HIGHLY recommend them! His family was not only overjoyed with all aspects of the company but it increased the value of their home by much more than what it cost! So, I contacted IHS, everyone was so nice, informative, and helpful! They arranged financing was straightforward, explained and everything. It was great from start to finish! "I purchased a "deal" offered by Tru Roof in July. I emailed them after purchase to inquire about color samples and get the ball rolling on install. They were immediately in touch and dropped off the color boards for me to pick the shingle color. I selected the color, and Bennie came out to inspect my roof. I also inquired about gutters. After getting all the dimensions he told me my roof was larger than the allotted 2000sq. ft. and that additional payment would be required for the additional square footage and the slope of the roof line. I decided to pass on the install of gutters since my cost of the roof had now increased, but agreed on the additional payment and he scheduled me for install the first week of August. The install was pushed back by two weeks due to weather, other jobs he had going, and waiting for my shingles to arrive. When my shingles did arrive, they were the wrong color. Not the shingle I had asked for. Bennie called and asked if I would still take these shingles, and offered me a credit if I would. I asked if he would be willing to install the gutters in place of the credit, and he agreed.
His crew came out early on the morning of 8/16 and immediately began tearing the shingles off the roof. The worked fast and efficient, but were not quite as clean as I would prefer. They were unable to completely finish the job on Saturday and returned early Sunday morning to finish the last bit of install and to clean up. Bennie came out later that day to install the gutters. I talked through some of my concerns from the install - bent flashing, shingles that looked a bit pinched, etc.. And he said he would have someone come out and take care of that - They never did.
After installing the gutters he told me he did not have brackets in black to secure them, that he would have to order the brackets, and would be back out to install them - I followed up with him 3 times regarding the brackets, each time being told they were coming. They never came, and he never came back. He also said he would put a splash guard up on the back corner of the house - never happened. The worst part is the gutters leak - they leaked immediately after install, which I text and emailed him about - and thought would be addressed when he came out to put the brackets on to secure the gutters, but it has been 3 months and I have had zero follow up.
My roof looks great, and I am happy with the roof itself, but very disappointed in the gutters and the lack of follow-up and follow through. Should I need roofing care in the future, it will not be with this company.

SC Property Pros representative Jumbo Thompson was very responsive to our requests for quotes and offered valuable suggestions and a fair price.   In addition his construction team was extremely professional.  We were very satisfied with their craftsmanship and they also offered valuable ideas and suggestions that made the final product even better than we had hoped. 

The only negative was the lack of communication regarding the work team’s next day work schedule.  As an outdoor project we expected weather delays, however, several good work days went unused when we expected them to return but received no call to notify us they would not be coming.

Overall SC Property Pros did an excellent job and we would use them again without a doubt.
