"After an unusual situation arose at my home, I was concerned about the possibility of structural damage caused by drilling and new construction at an adjacent lot. After receiving a recommendation for Veitas Engineers from a trusted source, I called and scheduled an appointment. I am so thankful that I did. "Fred responded promptly to my initial call. He told me that he thought the job of creating the report and plans would amount to 4 total hours of work. He came to our house, made the necessary observations and explained his thinking. He then emailed me the completed report with sketches THAT AFTERNOON. Also, he only charged me for 3.5 hours, which I was very impressed with. We had discussed 4 hours, so there was no reason why he couldn't have simply charged me for all 4 hours. Overall, I found Fred to be knowledgable, efficient, and honest. I would absolutely use him again, and I would recommend him highly."

John is great at evaluating problems and coming up with creative and effective solutions. Although his services are expensive at $175/hour (but I have not even considered calling around to get hourly rates of other engineers so his prices may be exactly in line with the local, going rate), his due diligence and detailed reports are invaluable. Following his instructions outlined in his reports to resolve problems has always resulted in success. I wanted a plan for this issue that I can implement in small increments. I felt that paying his hourly rate and coming away with a concrete plan prioritized to get the biggest bang for the buck would be well worth the initial pain felt in my pocketbook. John is professional, great at follow-through, very willing to brainstorm solutions, and good at thinking outside the box to find creative solutions to difficult problems."

"Ross and his crew were wonderful to work with. He came and gave me an estimate on the same day that I called. He was very professional and definitely was very knowledgeable. He was able to give me a very fair and reasonable estimate and also provided me with paperwork with their license and insurance info. I had other contractors quote me $15,000 more for the same job, and other contractors flat out tell me no- that they didn't want the job or the job couldn't be done. Ross's crew came the next week and completed the job in 3 days. They were always right on time and the basement looks great. They also did an awesome job cleaning up afterwards. I was very impressed w this company and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone. They stuck to the price that Ross had quoted me...
