The man who installed it and had been servicing it was too busy to come for a week. I called MSD and was given an appointment for 8 AM the next morning. They were prompt and courteous, fixed my problem, and were reasonably priced. I will be calling them in the future."

"SILA is never going to be the cheapest but if you want something diagnosed swiftly and fixed or replaced just as quickly, you can't go wrong with these guys. They were the only ones to correctly diagnosis and fix our ailing furnace three years ago, so we trust them. For this problem, they tried to get the old pump into working order (turns out it was the kind that needed to be oiled; the contractor, not SILA, who installed it along with a heavy duty basement dehumidifier, never told us it needed oiling for routine maintenance). The SILA tech did all the diagnostics on the drain hose (no blockage there) and then tried oiling the motor. It was running but not well enough to push the water up the hose and down the drain. A new pump was the last alternative. Within 20 minutes, the SILA tech replaced the pump with one identical to our furnace condensate pump, which never needs oiling. Everything is working fine now! They also have good coupons/deals when you get on their email/mailing list."

"I had the equipment replaced, a brand new, super high efficiency, fancy, lovely stuff. It's a central air system, and it's Lennox equipment. It's high efficiency. You can get it for less than that, but you're not gonna get the high efficiency quiet and all that kind of stuff. I had received other quotes which were like more money for the same system. I have been using them since 1986. No complaints. They do their thing, and I can't fault them. I have a service contract with them for this."

We needed to get 4 new AC units installed. They were 17 years old and leaking, so we took the plunge and decided to replace them. He answered all my questions and I believe that he gave me honest suggestions on the best solutions for my home and living situation. I found him to be honest, trustworthy and very knowledgeable. The install went smoothly, one of the units was tucked away in a tight closet in my daughters room, and they dealt with that easily. They installed 4 new controllers. They were tidy, and worked long hours to get the job done. In addition they spent time explaining the new systems to us and answering questions of ours that arose. We are really pleased with the new systems and controllers, we have peace of mind that we've installed good, reliable systems, and that we have a great company looking after our AC and heating needs. I also hired them to do annual service visits for our heating and AC. So far they have performed the winter maintenance visit, and identified a couple of things that needed addressing to prevent possible problems this winter. What they recommended made sense to us, and we thought they were valid and worthwhile repairs. As we trust this company, we decided to go ahead and get the work done. Chris D came to do the repair job. He was very friendly, helpful, hard working, and did a great job. He also took time to make sure we knew what was going on. I'm hugely relieved that I found this company. It's increasingly rare to find companies to help out in the home who are good at what they do, honest and trustworthy. I highly recommend them. BTW I'm also impressed with their office support staff. They are super friendly and helpful, calling back when they say they will. Booking appointments is super easy with this company."

When we could not understand a few things they sent out a serviceman just to show us how it works. They also directed us towards financiers and reabate availability."

"We used Schede to replace our central air conditioner. Overall, we are satisfied with the new system and the price but the customer service was not satisfying. I think they did everything we needed in terms of the mechanical work. But they should better train their office help. After we agreed on the installation date, I asked what time the crew would arrive that morning. They gave a vague answer so I asked again the next day. But they arrived two hours later than expected. After they were done, we discovered that we needed a minor adjustment and scheduled a time for them to come. An hour after they were due, I called and was told they were not coming that day. The next day was the same – I called after they were overdue and was told they were not coming that day. They finally came the third day. The technician solved the problem and was apologetic. But it was quite frustrating that they did not come as scheduled and did not initiate the call to say they would be late or there was a problem."

"Repairman, Andrew, came and located the problem. The ignitor had burned out, so the burners would not light. Andrew did not have the part in his truck but was able to fit in a used part from another furnace to give me heat until he got the other part. I got a call the next day and scheduled a time to put in the exact part. Again, repairman was within the stated time window. Heat working well."
